Yo this is such a good game. I had so much fun listening to the sounds and music. The player moves so smoothly. I would've tried to finish the game but it got ridiculously difficult at a point lol maybe I'm just bad at it! I love how it starts and picks up gradually, like a crescendo. Brilliant game mate! 👾
Thank you so much!
Very nice. smooth gameplay. hurt my eyes a little going from squinting trying to see the level pretty quickly into a bright white. music nice and relaxing. a pleasant experience. :)
Thank you!
Wow what a polished game. I love how the players eyes move so cute :D I must say that you used sound effect a like professional it felt really when pushing a button. The only negative think i could say is that you could have done much more with the mechanic.Other than that this is a really well made game great job :D
Note:I would be happy if you could check out my game as well we had some similar ideas :d
Thanks for your feedback! Will do!
Ughhh, I really hate to say this. The game sounded great, the music was really good for the game, the simplicity was high up there, and the art looked really good, but, the gameplay felt impeded by so so much. First, the platforms are near invisible to the player, there's no feedback when they hit a checkpoint, the camera feels zoomed in so you can't see everything you need to, the 10 second timer feels super strict at points, and just another small thing, when the player lands, they bounce a bit, so if you need to be quick, then it kinda just messes you up. The game feels so polished, and yet so un-polished at the same time. If the gameplay was just improved with more contrast, a bit more playtesting, and slightly better player control, than this game would be great. And again, the game isn't bad, I really thought the sfx and music were great, and the artstyle was amazing, but it just wasn't all that fun. Good game!
Thank you for your feedback! I totally understand you, and you're right. I had one day to make half of the mechanics + the entire level, so quality is not the best there, but you are entirely correct and justified. Also note that the landing animation is purely visual (but I can see how it can trip you up still.) Other than that, thanks! I will take note of this.
Very Fun! The Grafix remind me a lot of Geometry Dash... and thats a good thing! The gmaeplay also was very fun, even though it was a little to hard at some points.
Thank you! I did not have enough time to test and balance the gameplay that much, but I will take note of this!
Fantastic game! The polish is amazing! Unfortunate that you didn't do something more interesting with the theme, otherwise my score would've been higher. This also reminds me of a game I made which featured a blue cube that leaves corpses where they die. Your game is basically the same as mine but x100 better.
Some news for you, I'm most likely going to make a separate standalone game in the near-ish future, where I can have more time to improve upon the game! Stay tuned! Thanks for your feedback :)
Quite of headache, need more juicy for ur game i think, good visual btw
Rate my game too
I'll keep this in mind! Thanks!
The "dead bodies becoming part of the game" concept was something I foresaw a lot of in this jam, but this game had some fun with it. I loved how bouncy the player was animated, and I enjoyed the overall artstyle which in some ways reminded me of Limbo. There were some times when I wished the corpses disappeared a little slower but it was an enjoyable experience overall.
Sure thing! I didn't exactly get to fine-tune the difficulty, but thanks for your feedback!
It feels and looks so good, nice intro at the beginin btw xD and the WillYouSnail? "easter egg" was smart ;) Good job !
Thank you! ^ ^
Great job with this game! My only recommendation is to make the walkable ground and walls not as colorless as the map. I often found myself unsure where to go because the correct way blended in and I just couldn't see it. I did eventually figure out everything though and beat the game! Good job!
Thanks for your feedback! I've seen that to be the biggest thing people are struggling from, and I can see why. I'll make sure to fix that in the final patch! Thanks
Great job! The movement was pretty responsive and the mechanics implemented the theme well. I really liked the transition at the beginning!
Really liked the visuals, music, and level design. There are some parts where it's hard to distinguish the background from the platforms, but other than that it was really good. One of my favorites so far.
Thank you for your feedback!
The general low-energy laid-back aesthetic of this game is nailed on the head here. Its gameplay is polished so much you could probably use it as a mirror. However, one (very minor) issue I ran into was performance. I tested the game on a Core m3-8100Y w/ Intel HD 615, and some of the rooms that lean a bit more on the real-time lighting lagged a bit. Not enough to heavily impact gameplay, but a minor nitpick nonetheless.
Great job! This is absolutely one of the most polished games I've played yet from this jam.
Thank you! I did notice that the performance was not that great as you said though, as the entire game is being ran all at once. Thank you very much for your feedback!
This is so good! I am really amazed to be honest. It's really simple, cool animations, cool intro, cool sound effects and really fun too! Wowiiiie!
Thank you! :)
Good game, there are some parts where its too hard to see, and some difficulty spikes but overall good game!
Appreciated!
