Sometimes it is not controlled well although I feel that it is a bit generic, but in art it is very good.

I'm not seeing a point in the double jump considering a vast majority of the jumps require it because of the shallow jump. I think the player just having a bigger jump would be better than the double jump here. But hey, good work. There's a decent amount of content here
The game has character, I like the colors, the vividness to it, and the questionable "am I committing child murders whenever I defeat the enemies considering that if I stay log enough I become one of them? How many before me tried but failed and are now stuck waiting to be squished?" ;)
I am glad that you enjoyed it. I am going to making a lot of fixes and adding more things in the future. I would like to eventually have 5 worlds with a boss fight at the end of each world, and then possibly a big boss fight before the end of the game. There are a lot of different things that I would like to do with it, but the storyline was a spur-of-the-moment thing. It may change as the game changes and becomes more than it is now.
Thank you for the feedback.
Thank you again for the feedback. I will implement a little cutscene for the game over screen and I will work on the controls as I continue building. I did get a lot of feedback on the invincibility frames, so I will definitely be increasing those. I wanted to do a lot more before the submission of this first version, but I didn't have any more time. I spent a lot of time on mechanics and then I cut myself short on levels.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Fun game with a lot of content. Liked how enemies all had patterns to learn, like waiting for birds flying down. Would suggest invulnerable frames so touching one enemy doesn't stun lock and kill me.
Thank you for the feedback. I seem to be hearing a lot about the invincibility frames. I will definitely fix that when I post the update to the game. I am glad that you liked it. If you want to be notified when I post the update, you can follow me and I will make sure you know when I post the updates in the future. I will be making a lot of changes in the updates. I will post as I complete each new world.
Thanks again and congratulations on the game jam.
I' a simple person, I see opossums, I download! It was a cool game, very nice art but it felt like many different art styles and pallets. The controls felt a bit clunky but you can easily get used to them. Other than that, it is really worth playing!
Nice platformer. Well performed with some alex kid vibes.
The Game Is Alot Of Fun. The Art Doesn't Really Fit. But Everything Else Is Soo Good! The Movement Is Fluid. The Jump Is A Bit Low. I Like The Mario Vibes. I Love That There Something New In Every Level. To Be Honest. I Love The Game! Hope You Keep Making Game And Having FUN! =D
Nice game! Looks good, feels good to control. The frogs are a bit hard because they jump so high and so often, that you can't really wait for them to stop jumping. If they only jumped like three times, you could time your attack better since you would know when they stop. And like the others said, a bit more invincibility time would be great.
All in all great start for future updates.
Hey, cool game, congrats on the jam!
I liked the elegance of the game, it seems very polished :)
One thing I missed and could leave as feedback would be to give the player a small invulnerability interval after being hit. Multiple times I lost more than one life at once because of it.
