Nice game. Loved the estetic of an old CRT screen. Very easy to figure out and fun. Good work.

fun idea although the UI was a little messed up the slider wasnt working very well but i like the idea

Developer

Thanks for playing!
The UI was meant to be as easy as possible so anyone could understand it quickly. But using sliders for every logic block probably wasn't the best idea.

no thats not what i meant when i press and hold on the slider it didnt move all the time i think its a scaling issue with what you have setup on itch

I really enjoyed this! For a game jam game, you managed to put a lot of thought into the UI. Even with a new mechanic being introduced very few levels, the UI kept up and did really well to provide me with adequate info to complete the tasks. Felt really good!

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

I tried to keep the UI as simple as possible so anyone could get started and learn it quickly,

But using sliders for everything probably wasn't the best choice.

This is super cool! I love just mapping it all out in my head as I add the logic so I can see the whole thing play out in one go. I personally have no issues with having to wait through the commands as I really only saw things play out once but I can definitely agree that a speed up option would be nice. The last 2 levels were like a full minute long and can be a bit tedious to have to sit through if you need to fix your logic. I also wish that you could easily add in a function anywhere in the line of events rather than only at the bottom and then having to slowly pop them all the way to the position you want. The timeline gets long towards the end and you might swap something around you didn't mean to. Other than that, I just love this game. The art is good, the music is nice to listen too and isn't too distracting to break your focus from the logic, and the logic itself is super easy to understand (even if it can be a bit hard to follow at the end because of the length). I really wish there was more to play

Love the gameplay and the CRT screen aesthetic you went with :D - Reminds me a lot of Lego mindstorm kits I used to have :D. Overall feels polished and great implementation of the controls, level design and transitions.

Thanks for playing!
The CRT filter actually helps polish the graphics a bit :).

Super cool puzzle game, but I have to admit it just takes WAY too long to enter in all these commands for this one. I ended up getting to puzzle eight and having to move on . It seems like there wasn't really all that much to the strategy of the puzzle, more the unique way in which you executed it. It was really fun when you were solving a particularly long chain of events and watching the whole thing play out perfectly, but I could have also really used a speed up button so I don't have to watch the early steps play out a dozen times. Its cool that this is mostly like a memory game, but there's just way too many pieces and steps to some of these puzzles. Especially considering a simple get on the left of an object when you're below takes like 7 steps to execute.

Music and art were very nice, liked the sound effects. I really like the presentation on the old monitor. Overall great work!

Thanks for playing!

I know that the logic blocks can be quite a task to place every level, but it was way to late into development to make it easier.
A speed-up button is a great idea indeed!

Good looking game! I love the idea of the commands and the freedom they can give to solve things in different ways.

Thank you for playing :).

I've never tried controls like this before but it was fun to implement.

Very interesting concept. Could you please allow for full-screen? I prefer playing games in-browser and currently the submission buttons makes interacting with the commands very difficult (if not impossible). I also encountered an issue in the second puzzle where I had a rotate, move, and then another rotate, and my move step was just straight up skipped.

That being said, this looks great! Well done on the graphics!

Thanks for playing!
Fullscreen can be turned on from the game's options menu.
I tried to fix as many bugs I could find, but I guess I couldn't catch 'em all.

Fun to play - I like a good logic puzzle. I think that the difficulty ramp is a little steep, going from a puzzle needing 1 command to the next needing 7 or so, but I liked the way that the new mechanics were introduced. I LOVE the menu transitions!

Thank you for playing!
I know the difficulty ramp is too steep, but it was way too late into development to design something easier.
I like to add level transitions because that's an easy way to make the game feel a bit more polished :).
