Rerally cool to pull off without and engine. A bit hard and easy to get separated and have no player at all on screen :) Enjoyed trying it.

Loved this game. The art, animation, camera movement, sound.. Just really good work.  Felt very done as concept. Impressive to do all that in one person team :) I have nothing to add. I will leave this game installed...

Very nice looking game and smart use of the checkpoints. Also the controls. So simple and good adherence to the theme and modifiers.

Took a moment to get the feel for the movement but simple and addictive game.

Music stopped after a while. Dunno if that was intentional but I enjoyed it so missed it once it stopped.

Relaxing and simple game. Lagged a bit but enjoyable.

Would have added some escalation of some sort. Became a bit easy

Good implementation and mood.

Damn this game. I was just going to test it. Spent a good while..  Fun game. Love the visuals and how it requires some skill and foresight, but also the ability to "cheat" by jumping ahead is nice.

Only issue is that the web game didn't work at all for me and the windows version at some points lagged despite the computer being quite performant so it really shouldn't.. But then. The deaths caused by that were few compared to me just not being great at this.

A comment that perhaps doesn't make sense but I will try anyway is that the speed feeling was a bit missing until the curvier parts of the track. I don't know how it could be done better but the sense of anything happening took a while getting.

Anyway. Loved the game.  Great work. I will leave it installed.

Simple but challenging enough to not hit the cats..

I really liked this simple game and got stuck a bit long playing it. So simple and yet enjoyable (and frustrating to cause a crash at 24/25....)

Liked the graphics and gameplay and how you stuck to the theme

Liked the concept and I had to think a couple of times :)

That was difficult! But I liked it. Some details like getting stuck between a checkpoint and a red killer thing could be designed away I guess. But overall I liked playing it. Well done :)

I don't think I got it..  Looked nice and easy controls. Good adhearance to the theme :)

Thanks for the good feedback. I will add some more information to the title screen

Appreciate that you took it for a spin!

At least I don't mind it being frustrating as it didn't take long between retries. Its a bit the point of the game that it looks easy but it requires a touch of skill.

Thanks for playing and taking the time to write such a constructive feedback.

I have realized that I should have had the instructions clear on the menu screen. Now I only put them on the itch.io page for the game.  The way you got stuck is possible to solve, but its hard.. I was thinking to perhaps just add a restart possibility for when you get slowed down a lot.

Really appreciate the feedback ! :)

Hated this! ... since its so simple and still I constantly mess up :)

So a great game. Very clear directly how it works.  Levels are well made and i liked the music. Excellent work.

I couldn't figure out the summoning thing.  But overall a nice game.  I would like to start in a cloud though so I don't die before I realize I have started :)

Hi. Thanks, I came to think of the sides a bit late after I had submitted the game. But centering on the checkpoint would be a way to solve that. Good idea:)

Liked the game. A bit hard to play with a trackpad :)

Excellent game. Liked the simple estetic where the lighting effect adds an extra dimension to it. And also the creative use if the multi-purpose checkpoint. Great work :) I really enjoyed playing it.

Interesting concept. On my (old) Linux machine it scaled a bit weirdly so I couldn't read the text on the menu screen or end screen. But I figured it out  :)

Super cool. Love the graphics and effects. Impressive.

Good you found a favorite way of moving :) Thanks for playing.

Very nice game. Excellent execution. I loved the music. Was just starting to wonder if it was just this piano loop when the guitar came in. Loved the sound of it.

(1 edit)

I loved playing this game. Brilliant with the storytelling. I wanted to know what the next picture would show and that kept me going.  Liked the sound effects, the hair of the hero when jumping and that camera perspective movement. Nice! I ran into a small bug with sound effects becoming very delayed in the later levels. No sound would play at all when something happened and then I would get all the sounds later on in one mess (Firefox/Mac).  But well.. I loved playing this game! Great work.

Edit: The boss: I would have some kind of a powerbar showing when he is hit. I spent a while hitting him with the sword, not really knowing if that made any difference or not (until I figured out that it didnt)

hey, its a jam :) This was my second one and my game is way to hard (and of course quite buggy as well) so I will also be fixing it up after the jam. We learn and have fun and get something done :)

Thanks for giving it a play and for the feedback

Landed on your stream on Twitch and saw you playing games there and found this game in the jam. Nice one. I loved the music from the start and cool with all these opponents to choose from. A little unclear when the controls "take" but fun playing. Good graphics and entertaining :)

Haha.. "You're the boss". As good as any way of handling the theme. This played nice. Very responsive and good controls as well as the graphics were good. Nice one. Oh, and that it cant be beaten is true for all games I play, so no real difference there ;)

Shame the packaging somehow was off. I would love to test this. I did try to run the exe file but my computer wouldn't have it and I found no way of hacking around it. I use pyinstaller often at work and it can be a bit moody sadly.  If you fix it an upload a fixed version I will definetly try it.

I didn't manage to get anywhere. Or rather I managed to somehow always break out of the maze and into unitys abyss..  The controls were a bit edgy and very fast so probably I somehow manage to go through a collider without ever touching it? Anyway, looking forward to trying again once some bugs are ironed out. Good work to get something up for the jam :)

Cool game. I watched it played on both Vimlarks and Joshes streams (but when I wanted to play it was a bit lonely on the server ;) ) So instead of playing I enjoyed reading the source code and trying to understand rust (somthing I haven't done much before). It was remarkably simple for using such a low level language and making multiplayer game. So I enjoyed the read :)

Great work.

Nice little game. Gets a bit tedious with no progression but I would definetly play it if it got a bit harder after a while adding more employees, having to cater to them individually and perhaps getting more types of things to hand out.  An idea would be to perhaps have the bosses boss hand you a lot of work you need to get done by handing out to your employees so that you need to keep them happy and productive but you also need to make sure your work gets done.. (but that would of course make the game quite much more complicated..) Anyway. Just spinning freely with thoughts :)

The idea is a good one and well executed so far (and as you see got me thinking of how to make it even more interesting).

I had a possible bug:  After I pressed restart no input worked (windows exe version) but that may have just been a fluke.

Super simple and clear how to play and yet not at all too easy. Liked it.

Nice. I managed to get stuck in the ground when falling so I was somehow in the twilight zone.. So when I fell I didn't really die it seemed (so the AI:s tried to continue to hunt me and thereby killed each other). I guess it's a bug :).

Anyway. Cool game. Directly playable and easy to grasp.

Nice game. Loved the estetic of an old CRT screen. Very easy to figure out and fun. Good work.

That was a very nice experience. And impressive as well. Loved the world and the mood of the game. Calming and pleasant :) Good job. Not often a game is this feel-good.

Thanks for playing and I am glad you found it entertaining. Yes, I made it a bit hard.. I will fix it after the jam is over.

I will have to fix that game so people can see the ending... :)

Hahahaha.. loved the flight you ended up doing. Thanks for the feedback. The employee throwing things should just be visible once, the rest of the time I was hoping it would be obvious that it was the employees throwing whatever they could at you. The resolution thing is interesting and definetly a case of "works on my machine".  The items are all placed in the level at certain points and get thrown when they are about to come on camera and as I don't take the width of the screen into consideration when throwing the stuff the game becomes virtually unplayable with a low resolution while a high resolution like yours becomes a bit easier.

Thanks for playing my game and for the feedback !
