Rerally cool to pull off without and engine. A bit hard and easy to get separated and have no player at all on screen :) Enjoyed trying it.

Damn this game. I was just going to test it. Spent a good while.. Fun game. Love the visuals and how it requires some skill and foresight, but also the ability to "cheat" by jumping ahead is nice.
Only issue is that the web game didn't work at all for me and the windows version at some points lagged despite the computer being quite performant so it really shouldn't.. But then. The deaths caused by that were few compared to me just not being great at this.
A comment that perhaps doesn't make sense but I will try anyway is that the speed feeling was a bit missing until the curvier parts of the track. I don't know how it could be done better but the sense of anything happening took a while getting.
Anyway. Loved the game. Great work. I will leave it installed.
Thanks for playing and taking the time to write such a constructive feedback.
I have realized that I should have had the instructions clear on the menu screen. Now I only put them on the itch.io page for the game. The way you got stuck is possible to solve, but its hard.. I was thinking to perhaps just add a restart possibility for when you get slowed down a lot.
Really appreciate the feedback ! :)
I loved playing this game. Brilliant with the storytelling. I wanted to know what the next picture would show and that kept me going. Liked the sound effects, the hair of the hero when jumping and that camera perspective movement. Nice! I ran into a small bug with sound effects becoming very delayed in the later levels. No sound would play at all when something happened and then I would get all the sounds later on in one mess (Firefox/Mac). But well.. I loved playing this game! Great work.
Edit: The boss: I would have some kind of a powerbar showing when he is hit. I spent a while hitting him with the sword, not really knowing if that made any difference or not (until I figured out that it didnt)
I didn't manage to get anywhere. Or rather I managed to somehow always break out of the maze and into unitys abyss.. The controls were a bit edgy and very fast so probably I somehow manage to go through a collider without ever touching it? Anyway, looking forward to trying again once some bugs are ironed out. Good work to get something up for the jam :)
Cool game. I watched it played on both Vimlarks and Joshes streams (but when I wanted to play it was a bit lonely on the server ;) ) So instead of playing I enjoyed reading the source code and trying to understand rust (somthing I haven't done much before). It was remarkably simple for using such a low level language and making multiplayer game. So I enjoyed the read :)
Great work.
Nice little game. Gets a bit tedious with no progression but I would definetly play it if it got a bit harder after a while adding more employees, having to cater to them individually and perhaps getting more types of things to hand out. An idea would be to perhaps have the bosses boss hand you a lot of work you need to get done by handing out to your employees so that you need to keep them happy and productive but you also need to make sure your work gets done.. (but that would of course make the game quite much more complicated..) Anyway. Just spinning freely with thoughts :)
The idea is a good one and well executed so far (and as you see got me thinking of how to make it even more interesting).
I had a possible bug: After I pressed restart no input worked (windows exe version) but that may have just been a fluke.
Hahahaha.. loved the flight you ended up doing. Thanks for the feedback. The employee throwing things should just be visible once, the rest of the time I was hoping it would be obvious that it was the employees throwing whatever they could at you. The resolution thing is interesting and definetly a case of "works on my machine". The items are all placed in the level at certain points and get thrown when they are about to come on camera and as I don't take the width of the screen into consideration when throwing the stuff the game becomes virtually unplayable with a low resolution while a high resolution like yours becomes a bit easier.
Thanks for playing my game and for the feedback !
