Anything you want to say to players before they play?
Arrow keys to move, X to steal (X +X for strong steal, and X +X +X for even stronger steal). C to open doors.
If the door is locked, unlock it by finding the sweet spot using the arrow keys and C to open, if you want to cancel lockpicking, just press X. Press S for inspecting doors (listen if there is someone nearby). Enjoy!

Infinitely late but I uploaded a review video to youtube and your game is a part of it! Check it out here:

Well, that was really cool and well polished.

I don't know if there's a win condition or anything but I'd love some feedback on how I did, caught or not.  Very well done, I love me anything to do with Raccoons so.  You're my favorite!

Great work!

I'm glad you liked it!! I didn't had enough time to polish that part of the game. At the end you have a simple score if you escaped (running on the street to the borders) or loose everything if captured. Thanks for playing!

wow, brilliant stuff, loved it. :)

Thanks! :)

Really liked this game, the graphics, and the music/sound. It was fun, and although a little on the easy side, it wasn't too easy. I think it's great that you can steal their fridge, and even greater that you can steal their turned-on TV while they're sleep-walking around in the same room.

Two things I had trouble with were lockpicking and winning. How to win wasn't really clear, and it took me a little bit to figure out I could just walk off-screen to end the game. Lockpicking seemed like just trial and error, where you just keep trying random spots until it suddenly works. But overall, I enjoyed this game.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed my little game. Lockpicking it's sort of a "sound" puzzle. You must find the sweet spot (there is a sound cue). It was intended to feel like you are actually lockpicking, so I hid the "puzzle" and made it entirely by sound. I might change it to make it more clear though. The ending of the stage is something that I'm still figuring out. I'll be updating the game with more stuff if you are interested in giving another try. Thanks for the feedback, it's really appreciated!

This is such a fun and funny game, I laughed when I realised I could steal the everything including the fridge.. strong steal indeed! haha! The jazzy music sets the tone of the game well, and the pixel art is amazing! Well done! :)

This game is awesome! The visuals were top notch and stealing everything including fridges was a really funny and fun thing to do. The lockpicking mini-game was really cool too. Stealth seemed a little on the easy side, but still fun regardless. Running from the police was really fun and everything was just really well polished. Great job!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm polishing the game, and adding more stealth mechanics. This first level was intended to be to learn the stuff. I'll be trying to add more levels with more challenging stealth parts in the days to come. Thanks for playing!!

I loved the visuals but the game bugged for me .. when i alerted the bear and cops caught me while picking locks and that pick lock screen persisted through out every scene of the game... BUT OTHER THAN THAT... I LOVE THE GAME!! I was unable to pick locks tho.. do we need an audio cue.. I am sorry I wasnt using earphones...

Developer

Oh boy! That's a bug I didn't see coming. I'm sorry for that. The audio cues for the lockpicking are there, maybe they aren't that loud. I figured that the sounds might get annoying if they are too loud. The game is intended to be very sound based (I'm just about to add some sound listening mechanics for the rooms). Thanks for playing, I'll be updating the game as much as possible!!

Works well now. Great pixel art and animations and the sound effects were effective. Controls were tight, I especially liked the lockpicking gameplay. The stealth action felt a little too easy though as the bears appeared to not notice stuff missing. The police was fun to engage. Overall a cool entry!

Developer

Thanks for trying it!! The feedback is appreciated. The bears that are sleep walking don't notice things because they are too sleepy, there are going to be more challenges, like an insomniac character that will notice and alert the police and other characters like that. I hope to be able to add them soon!

same for me (PC version)

Developer

Oh! I'm a Mac user and didn't notice it. I'll fix it as soon as possible

Developer

I uploaded a fix, it should be working! I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Doesn't appear to work after the title screen as I only get a blank screen. Did the PC version.

Developer

Oh! I see, it also happens on Mac, I'll fix it as soon as possible.
