Very promising foundation for a Binding of Isaac style of rogue-lite!

The artstyle was fantastic and the gameplay, while rather bare, felt perfect for what was there!

I love how the visuals on this game are made and executed, like the Youmu's sprite, the explosion, and heck even the grass is animated XD. It is a nice game, but I think it needs more enemy variations. After you realize that it's only the ghost that chasing you wherever you are and the Kedama is only chasing you when they are inside your screen, the is no longer difficult since as long as you can kill the ghost fast enough, the rest of the enemy, that being the Kedamas, can be wiped easily.

I played the game until stage 3 or something, but I'm not sure if there's an end to the game so I stop. Good job on the game though!

Can't believe you turned a bullet hell into an enemy hell (haha, get it?) The responsiveness in this game is stronk (in terms of screenshakes and such).

Anyway, fumo Youmu is a cute.

Good game,

Was expecting a little bit more of cool powers or abilities, or some more fumo. More enemies would be much cooler, as well as maybe a boss, but It would be too hard for only 72 hours.

Restart button or quit button would make this game much better and wouldn't add too many additional time to spend.

The only reason I wasn't bored after 2 minutes was music - truly good job!

Anyways, even through it is a little monotonous, it is still very VERY polished and simply pretty.

Score: something around 19000 after reaching this, I throwed myself into a swarm of monsters.

Was playing older version so idk if you improved some of these points. Anyways, good job!

a little screenshake goes a long way. gamefeel is great although there is not too much to it, and it was kinda hard to tell if my upgrades were making an impact. eventually i think i started killing things faster but not entirely sure

also what does sp do! i could not find any way to spend it except in exchange for upgrades!

still cool though

Getting attacked by kedama depletes HP and getting attacked by ghosts depletes SP. Either one reaching zero is death.

It's pretty solid for 72 hours!

There's not enough content to not feel monotonous after only 3 minutes - the enemies right now aren't interesting at all, and they seem to be just spawned in the rooms without rhyme or reason.
But the foundations of the gameplay are solid like concrete. It's just that Youmu's moveset looks like it could be expanded.

It's a fun game, especially for being developed in 3 days! I played way too much of it when I was bored (as you can tell), and I enjoyed it quite a bit.


Because I played it for so long, naturally I have some feedback of things I noticed. There are obvious improvements like expanding the gameplay with more enemy types, more room layouts, etc, however two more niche things that could be improved are:

Movement speed is capped, somewhat like bullet damage (the practical cap being reaching enough damage to one-shot every enemy). However, you can still stack more bullet damage after you hit this point, and use this to your advantage later. Movement speed is capped at a certain value, and increasing it further does not actually increment the value past that. (I can tell because I got a +5.63 move speed increase once, and my speed did not noticeably change. However, I picked up a -2 move speed decrease and Youmu slowed dramatically.) This was a bit confusing at first, but this could be solved by displaying both damage and movement speed values on screen, along with HP and SP. 

There's a glitch where sometimes your SP would be set to your HP value after entering a new level. I don't know what causes it, but the SP value resets back to its cap once it changes (all times this occurred to me, my current HP value was over my SP cap.) Just thought y'all should know in case you weren't aware. 

(Also minor issue, there's no way to exit the game as far as I can tell.)

Was extremely impressed by the game's engine; it runs really smooth. I wished there was a bit more to spice up the gameplay though (maybe some powerups?)

Very fun! I didn't notice it was infinite until I was at like level 14, got 194k points and got tired... Having to exchange stats is pretty nice, and Youmu running sprites are too cute!

This is a lot of fun, like very fast Gauntlet or something. Also looks and sounds great. I agree that the screen shake in the jam version is pretty extreme, though tbf it seems better in the more recent upload.

Controlled really well, and the Youmu art was very good. Having to trade between different stats made for some good decision making too. Felt like the screenshake could've been toned down a bit. It was awesome at first, but having the screen shake so much started giving me a headache after a while. Other than that, awesome job!

Sorry for the headache! Glad you enjoyed our art! We decreased the screen shake in almost every update compared to the last update because of the feedback we received. We will weaken it more in the future (I swear)
