- Great game that is immediately evocative of DOS and conjures a little world of trawling through files and trying to fix viruses. Short and focused, but I liked the mix of graphics and text features to add some flavour throughout. Really neat idea. Great work on the game!

Took a while to get used to but I might be hooked. Game feels excellent, I even thought it was a little short haha. Love the interface and (quite literally) programmer art in here. Chefs kiss.
Also, do you have any beginner-friendly text adventure game recommendations lol?
Did you reopen the game after the tutorial? The game continues after closing itself :) I am asking this because completing the game should take like 1 hour lol. Also thanks for playing. You can check out Hacknet its a very good linux esque game :]
And now I feel like the dumbest person on Earth LMAO. Didnโt know that was a tutorial, now I shall play the game properly this time.
Super polished. Beautiful game! I tried playing the real thing but got stuck after password unlocking asm.exe. Couldn't figure out where the information needed to run the program was sadly. Really just awesome though. Loved getting used to the command line. Felt super smooth once I had more experience with the commands. The sound design was great and the visuals perfect. Nice work!
Hey thanks for playing :D You are so close to the end! You should look at the reports directory. There is a text file called abtasm.txt. That will help you :) Again thanks for playing i hope you can get to the ending. I am pretty sure no one has seen it in this jam :]
Haha I did find that file and I did unlock the .exe! I meant the actual program itself asking what models to use. Hopefully I'm responding in time to catch you. I do really want to finish the game but unfortunately am a bit dense I suppose lmao.
NEVER MIND I GOT IT (but now I'm stuck on what to do after getting it ๐ I don't want to say anything too explicitly here to avoid spoilers for others lmao)
AHA I GOT IT. So I only just realized how I'm supposed to be interacting with the .trts which also lead me to using the .stp files. Once I unlocked hide things happened where they weren't happening before. Super sick. Love the ending. Just a really awesome game man. I played more of this game than most of the other games I've played combined lol.
All the ptg files has a number on at the models. You have to assemble the models in the correct order. If you do that an output file will be created. Open that output file an see what happens :D
***SPOILERS***
If you can't figure out the order it is 2 2 0 1. If you select these options in order the program should create an ouput file :)

Thank you do much! It means a lot to me. And congrats for beating the game :D
I did not understand how to fix it, but I have fun trying to. :)

Such a fun sub genre of horror, It felt very polished and smooth to play, good job.
Thanks for playing :)
This felt really smooth to play, almost like I wasn't playing a game at all. It's well put together and feels very moody. Unfortunately, I was unable to figure out the 'fix' command so I believe I only got the bad end lol The 'help fix' and failing to use the fix produced conflicting instructions in the order of things you were supposed to type, or maybe I'm just too bad of a dos user to understand. Outside of that, I really enjoyed this and it felt like one of those modern 'lost phone' games but instead it was a lost dos computer.
Hey thanks for playing :D You can use the info command to see the corrupted property. And the fix command to fix it. Lets say the info command doesnt show the name. Then you can type fix name to fix it. Slashes means options you have. So you can do "fix name" "fix path" "fix size" "fix type". Lools like I forgot to change the error message. Thanks for pointing it out.
This is great. Really impressive aesthetically and the DOS replication is awesome. The familiarity lulled me into a sense of security, so the scare was more effective. Nice job
Thanks for playing :]
This is pure evil. The work of a mad genius set to riddle the minds of poor unsuspecting game devs. The tutorial was judged just about right, by the time the game proper started I was ready to explore. Not that I was ready ready. There is so much here I feel like I need to set aside a full day to explore it properly. Not the right length for a jam but why should that stop you from making something so complete and mind blowing? My brain is blown at what it took to even devise it. Full on respect. KUDOS to you my friend.
Thank you so much :]
Awesome work, you did a really amazing job at emulating the real thing, it looked and felt really good. Great concept for the jam too I really liked it!
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it :D
imagine it write your name on a txt file . _ . Or maybe a quick quiz to know your personality? who know xD
That could be interesting :D
This was super nostalgic! I enjoyed playing it, runs super smooth.
Thanks for playing :D
The dangers of leaving your passwords in plain text files.
The sound adds a lot to this and it's really immersive
Hahaha.. Thanks for playing :D
it's good game!
Thanks!
Really smooth and so good. Love it.
Thank you :D
Great Job! I like games like this :)
Thanks for playing :)
Damn this game is good!
The game sounds nice, it plays nice. And is overall just a really fun game to play and mess around in. And its scary! This game is actually up there on my favorite games from the jam. And to be honest, I dont really have anything negative to say about it.
Awesome game, Keep it upโฅ
Thank you! It means a lot :)
You did an amazing job to emulate the feeling of real thing. I was feeling a urge to break into someone system haha. Amazing job you did there!
Thanks for playing :D
I loved it. I appreciate that the terminal acts like a real terminal and I can instinctively use commands like ls or clear. The screen effect and typing sound really help it stand out from other terminal emulator games. In fact, it was so well done I was tricked into a sense of security and forgot it was a horror game jam... and you probably know how that went haha.
Haha glad you like it! Thanks for playing :]
