some dark underlying message with the negative thoughts hanging on the guys back. I enjoyed how the music slowed down, i think this could be pretty trippy honestly. maybe make the people in the background change as the demon gets bigger. all in all I really like this simple but dark concept

Developer

Thank you :D

I wanted to make people darker and scarier  but at the end I got lazy XD

A pretty balanced game overall! Nice graphics, audio, idea! The black thing enfulfing you is intense, really does its job. You even put an ending! Good job!! :)

There a few things really interesting in this game and things that needs to be improved (I know it's a jam entry :) ):
- in order to cover you ears you need to stop : this is extremely cool because you need to dose your willing to protect yourself with the urge to go ahead
- The depression growing on you: How mean people could be it's astonishing and it's cool you put that in your little game
- the effect on slowing down the music is cool and make its effect
- When you are slowed down it's a bit unfair, especially for the fact that not enough burgers are shown
- it's hard to clear recognise if what is coming to you it's a compliment or an offense, in runner game you have little time to act and a clear understanding of your understanding - it's kind of missing here
- nice that sometimes people say nice thing to you.

I was afraid this game might have been  a bit too stupid, but it actually is nice designed :) Good work

Developer

Wow thanks for your detailed comment!

Yeah, probably I should have added more burgers.

Glad you liked!

I really liked the atmosphere of the game and how you portrayed bullying! GOOD JOB on that! (all the touches with music and this dark shape behind you neck)
Graphics are also cute.
And to get to the first burger is really hard but if you make it to the first then you can make it to all others :D

Good little jam entry!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I'm glad you liked.

I made the rest of the burgers closer cause I thought it will be impossible to beat the game if you get hit😬

I liked the visuals of the game, and the little touches like the distortion of the music.

Despite the other comments, I felt that the game was a bit too easy, and  also quite monotonous, but runners are always like that anyway.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

I guess you are a pro then😄

I don't really think so, usually I'm not that good at playing games sadly, ahahah.

More burgers please!

Developer

XD

I can't update it during rating period :(

Submitted(+1)

Hi Ashk!

my sentence wasn' t a request about updating the game but it was an exclamation related to the fact here in Italy we normally think all the time about food and now we are all in quarantine we think about food twice as before !!

I think I'll go fat as the main char of you game XD

Ohhh

I get it now🤣🤣

My cousin is Italian too!

Fun game, i like the music distortion and the lights going off as you take more insults. I think it would've been better if the game was more chaotic with a lot more burgers and a lot more insults/compliments on screen at the same time

Developer

Thank you so much!

I actually like your idea!

Submitted(+1)

Well this was something else.

The distance from the 1st to the 2nd hamburger felt really long but the game seems winnable as long as you don't take more than one hit.

Although you used Fat by Weird Al, you get bonus points in originality for the slowed down distorted version as the player takes damage as well as your SFX.

The Game-Over's felt a bit cheap but hey, you at least included unique ones for the two deaths.

Still it was a nice game for what it was worth, nicely done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for investing time in my game :D

Gald you liked :)

Wow, this game can take a dark turn quickly. Quite an unique concept, nicely executed. Getting to the second burger is super difficult and all the next ones are easy. I enjoyed playing it, good job!

Developer

Thank you so much! :D

Yes it is dark XD

At first it is difficult but with a few playthroughs it will be as easy as eating a hamburger :D

Really interesting concept, I like the art a lot, especially the idea of the depression monster. This is actually a pretty deep game and I usually don't like commercial music either, but Weird Al is the best. Good work!

Thank you so much!

I'm glad you liked it ;D

I love Weird AI songs XD

I like the idea of blocking your ears when critiques come, a bit more food would be good I don't really see how to even get the 2nd burger when blocking the critiques haha. Good job!

Developer

Thanks :D

I wanted it to be challenging.

It needs a little practice 😬

Really great! I actually kept retrying until I won. Great use of theme and the art was distinctive. Don't like the use of commercial music, there's a lot of opportunity for some moody original music! Felt artistic with the use of the shadow looming.

Developer

Glad you liked it!😄
