How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
The chaos of this game becomes more apparent the faster you go. As your top speed increases the physics and camera start to behave more unpredictably. As you edge closer and closer to "full joy" you will learn to embrace the chaos ~

Did you include a fake publisher splash screen at the start of your game?

No

Did you use the Audius API in your game?

No

the insane lag honestly fits this jam so well that for me it actually made me enjoy this more. I got the happy joy joy meter to the max and actually broke the car, so that was an experience

Hey! Nice graphics, but you should really work on the optimisations, I am sure that there's always a room for improvement in terms of making the game less laggy and more optimised. I liked the grass texture and concept!

PS. I would be really glad if you could rate our game as well ;)

That's pretty funny, It reminds me of this really old shockwave game "gorillaz final drive" with the elevated highway. I wish there was some sound though.

Good job :)Gnome's Lair: The free Gorillaz non-game

Thanks to you I was able to bas fast as f for once.

Nice game, shame it lagged but we can still enjoy your game!

I crashed my car many times stuck in the grass, I don't know if it was planned or not but that's kind of the theme, yea?

Looks nice and I got to be fast :)

But I did find the game to be laggy. Pretty impressed with the visuals of the game though.

Audio would have made the game more enjoyable to play.

Fun physics sandbox game, would like to see it more expanded.

Pretty Game and fun to watch as it gets more chaotic

This was really fun for a game built in a few days. I started to go so fast that I buried my car straight into the ground and couldn't move any longer, which unfortunately ended my run prematurely. It looks like the addressable and streaming assets are causing a bit of jitter during the gameplay. All in all this was pretty fun. I would like to see what it would look like if we had more than 3 days! Awesome job!

it was fun to drive around, and felt like i was going warp speed towards the later part of the game.  Do you think the lag comes from the grass rendering?  it seems the hitches come in from the grass occlusion or when a new block of grass is rendered.  The driving felt smooth and responsive, i love the feeling of jumping over hills and driving across the road. Great job!

Thanks so much, glad you liked it!
Yea I definitely think its the grass causing the lag, I got a little over zealous placing it.
Once the judging period is over I'll upload a version with less grass - should help performance.

Really pretty game, indeed a little bit laggy but it was fine it was funny to see how chaotic it was getting

Apologies to everyone dealing with the lag!
if you drive around a bit and let everything load in it should be ok...

I'm honestly amazed it even worked on a browser haha 😅

Thanks for playing!!!

Laggy on my browser! But the style and concept are great.

Love the vibrant colours and lowpoly art style :D

Looks really cool, but sadly unplayable in my browser, (on my pc, probably). I will watch a video of a gameplay before rating it, let me know if there is a video.

What a nice word and pretty decent controls for just a few days. Loved how it boosted you like crazy. I managed to clip into the ground and get stuck on both my plays, tho

Great Game. 10/10

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing has nothing on this.

Good game, but it had a lot of lag and now I am starting to think that my PC was not as powerful as i thought. :(

Looks beautiful and the car physics are great. Found it a bit laggy, probably because its a web version. I did get stuck in the ground a few times but I managed to clip through and found a second ground to drive around on. Not sure if that was intentional but it was fun and fit with the theme I guess lol

Really fun driving physics. The visual FX when you max your happiness meter is super cool too. Definitely hard to make a polished 3D game play smoothly in browser, and I had my fair share of getting stuck like some other players mentioned, but I think this is a fun driving sandbox that paves the ground floor for a bigger game!

Very fun game, my real life fun meter went up from playing it. Only thing I would fix is getting stuck in the floor and world-border.
