What a ride! I was really confident to manage this shitshow but little did i know that it was only the beginning the festivies. Only moments later mayhem broke loose and people woulde errupt in fecal explosions. I tried to save them but i wasnt strong enough ... fun times

Thank you so much for playing and for the funniest comment! :-D

What a crappy job. I love it.

Tho I was stuck in the title screen because I thought the game was loading or something... You should add a prompt like: "Press X to continue" which blinks.

Developer

Thanks for playing! A blinking X at the start is a great idea.

Fun game and gameplay is actually quite addicting. Nice job!

Thanks for playing!

What a wonderful idea - make people pay you $20 to use the toilet. Very classic arcade feel to this. Nice work writing this in SDL. It feels really well put together.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I wish I could transfer the business model from the game into real life. :-D

Surprisingly complex considering the limitations! Nice pixel art, I appreciate the clarity of the graphics, animations and controls. Gameplay-wise it’s a bit rough, I’d like to see some sort of win/lose condition (actually I left the game on the background while writing this comment, turns out there is a game over condition but I failed to catch what it was) and progression. But in the end, it was fun to play!

Thanks for playing! You lose when 9 people soil their pants :-) (visible in the top left corner). A new version is already ready, where the difficulty has been adjusted and two new features have been added to shorten the queue. I will activate the new version again after the jam.

This is a great game. It kept me engaged. I appreciated little tutorial to start with too -- very handy. Good use of the Nokia sound, too.

I loved your game.
At first I was a little worried with all the explanations, but in the end, the game plays very well, all the information needed are conveyed properly and the difficulty ramps up nicely.
This is a very good submission

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! The many key functions worried me too. :-D

One of the most fleshed out submissions I played! And fun, too. Great job!

Thank you very much for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

I played for quite a long time, but then I couldn't handle the demands of the people and I lost all my lives. I enjoyed the game mechanics. I wish there were upgrades for the toilets or something else I could do. After I bought all the toilets, I couldn't do much with the money except sometimes swap people. It's impressive that you did all that with SDL2 and C++

Developer

Thanks for playing! You can upgrade the toilets twice, but you can only upgrade them when they are unoccupied, which can be quite tricky in all the chaos. After the jam, I'll adjust the difficulty. I'll also fix the bug where an upgrade is supposed to reduce the time spent on the toilet but doesn't. Additionally, in the new version, I've already added a third upgrade option.

Very fun and well done. Loved to see that with simple animations you can understand very well what's going on on the screen

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I'm actually surprised myself that you can recognize what's happening in the game with so few pixels—especially since I can't draw or pixel at all. :-D

I really like this concept. Coding it CPP goes really hard! I think this is one of those ideas, that are full of potential for expansion in every possible direction. Such a minimalist resource management game could actually revive this genre by taking it back to its roots.

Developer

Wow, thanks for the great feedback! 😊 I'm really happy that you like the concept. I actually already have a few ideas on how to expand the game after the jam. Let's see where the journey takes me!

I’m a bit slow for this kind of game, but I tried my best. Very fun idea and well done. An extra star for using SDL!

Thanks for playing! I enjoy making games in C++ and SDL more than in Godot or other frameworks. I don't like having to use the mouse while programming. ;-)

This game was fun - even if the queues get out of control pretty fast.
It must be terrible to get stuck in the queue for too long ;)

Developer

Yeah, that must be really bad. I hope I never have to stand in a toilet queue managed by me. Thanks for playing!

Love the little minigames for fixing/cleaning the toilet! It's a nice management sim with a unique concept. I like it!

Developer

Thanks for playing!
