"Have you ever wondered what life is on a planet where retired androids (not junked for tax reasons) reside?

Be careful what you wish for, you might end up grabbing the short side of the universe.

Bring order to what minimal chaos there is as Kopp Green, a officer who for the first time in his life, has to face the practical reality of enforcing law.

Maybe the situation of Tuban is not as simple as it seems...

Take initiative, and some lives, on the Shorter Side of the Universe."

This was the original pitch for this game. However in its current state, it is so half baked, it is a parody of itself. In this early access version of the game:

  • Drive around,
  • Blast shit apart with your service revolver,
  • Play checkpoint charlie,
  • Hang out at the grocery store,

Sounds fun? OSSC is just for you!

Warning, the game contains foul language.

Controls on foot:

LMB / RMB - fire left / right weapon

This made my heart melt. I love simplistic racers, and this one is a really cool one.

The art is excellent.

Thank you so much for your kind words!

The speed needs work, but in the finished game, you would've needed to play the first part over and over again, as if you fail it would throw you back to the absolute start.

The locked option cannot be unlocked as of right now. The original idea was to create a horrible faux branded mode called PlayAlong(TM), where you would need to sync the music on an external device

Basically the mode would've had chords, and it would've said "press play on Walkman" at the start. I personally kinda like this idea, since it reeks of some stunt a real dev of the period would've pulled.

It is not impossible that it will be implemented, although if we expand the game I personally would really like a 176x220 W800 style game, since in my view that was the golden era of mobile gaming. The melodies would then be midi renditions.

I really liked the art style and animation. I'm a sucker for a good rhythm game. Nice job.

I really like this concept. Coding it CPP goes really hard! I think this is one of those ideas, that are full of potential for expansion in every possible direction. Such a minimalist resource management game could actually revive this genre by taking it back to its roots.

Incredibly innovative idea :D
