Cool game. Progression is nice and the art is great. It was kinda hard to figure out which parts of the map are traversable at times but other than that it was an excellent experience!
Thank you for playing! Im glad you liked it :)
I have literally collected every single possible coin (at least i think so), dug out every single ore, got every upgrade, explored every biome and i collected every single key. 10/10 experience, I loved every second of it :-D I wish i could see some lore after opening the door :-]]
On the first playtrough i have encountered a bug that soflocked me and i had to restart but that wasn't a big deal and after that literally 0 bugs.
When i got to the ancient cave and a giant monster attacked me i was actually scared T _ T Amazing boss fight!!!
Great art, great animations, everything felt so alive. Is super impressive that you have managed to do that with so few pixels!!! And of course great use of the theme!! GOOD JOB!!! :DDD
PS: I didnt unlock the path to the right... What was in there and how was i supposed to get there????
Thank you so much for playing and taking the time! It really means a lot! For time-reasons we had to cut a few things we planned for the game and that includes the path to the right. We will try to iclude it in an update, once the rating period is over :) But im so glad you found the boss and got to experience the whole game!
The best and most complete game I’ve played in this game jam!
Huge congratulations on the amazing work!
Wow, thank you so much! :)
Love the art, things fit together and are easily recognizable considering the color/resolution limitations.
The game reminds me of UFO 50's Porgy, and in a similar fashion to that game I'm pretty terrible at getting good results out of runs, I keep running out of oxygen haha.
I ran into a bug while drilling something, right as I finished drilling I ran out of oxygen and instead of dying I got stuck there, unable to move the ship anymore.
Related to that, it'd be super neat if there was a save feature to be able to resume playing later on (in my case, after encountering that bug and refreshing).
All in all I had a pretty great time!
Thank you! I played Porgy for the first time yesterday, after it was mentioned in another comment, and i can definitely see the similarities haha. Thank you for your feedback on the bug, i will look into it :) I think a save feature would be amazing, maybe ill implement it in an upcoming update
I gave the game only a 15 minutes or so, but I liked every one of them.
The sound is good, it's clear what's happening and the music isn't grating (unlike many of the other games I tried, sadly).
The graphics looks really nice. I had some issues recognizing what's dangerous and what's just a scenery, but some issues like this are probably unavoidable in this low resolution. You most definitely go a lot of bang out of it: the game is really nice to look at, and the screen is busy but not cluttered.
Frankly, I am struggling to find anything negative here :)
Thank you so much! As our Team consisted of only Illustrators, music was definitely one of our weak spots, so im very happy to hear that it turned out good! :)
Your game is very cool. It looks good, the underwater space feels GIANT and everything is very polished. I think the low resolution worked great because its scary to not really get what youre looking at underwater, you know kinda iron lung like? I loved the little fish that were just a few pixel that is not easy to pull off i think. Equaly to subnautica or minecraft I drowned SO OFTEN I gave up but that's my lack of skill. Very cool game, very impressive.
Very happy to hear that! Working in this low resolution was challenging, but a lot of fun i think. Thank you for your nice comment :)
I love the art and the name, and I like how you can go back for your coins after you run out air. Overall great Game!
Thank you! Im glad you liked it :)
This is really well done! Reminds me a lot of Porgy in UFO 50. I love the concept of preparing for deeper dives each time. You found a really cool game loop I'd love to see expanded. The ocean is vast and terrifying.
Thank you! :) i actually played UFO 50 for the first time today. Haven't played Porgy yet, but i will definitely look out for it
This game is great! Lots of cool little touches to the art.
Thank you! :)
Such a unique and cool game!
Having things to buy and a lot of places to go to in the water is awesome.
I faced a lil bug where you float on the water, and the screen is stuck there.
Aside from that, Art is top notch 🌟
Thank you for playing and your feedback! We're glad you liked it!
When I see the graphics, I get jealous. I really like the game!
Thank you so much!
What a wonderful game! Very fun to explore, authentic. The ending boss battle is great and I really enjoyed the little progression. Reminds me of Aqua Dig (J2ME). Very polished. Great job to your team!
Thank you! That means a lot! :) Never heard of Aqua Dig, but i will look it up
I got off to a poor start on my first attempt and scattered chests everywhere then had to refresh and try again - that's definitely a sign of compelling level design!
Thank you! Really happy to hear that!
Very fun game, good graphics and simple and addictive mechanics. Definitely a job done with a lot of talent and effort, congratulations
Thank you! :)
Super fun game! The boss fight was so unexpected but intuitive to learn and not too difficult :D I was silly in the beginning and just went down without resurfacing which led me to dying a lot oops! Maybe another upgrade could be a depth rating :) I did encounter a bug where it wouldn’t leave the resurface collect coins screen but I’m not sure how to replicate it.
Thank you! Im so happy you found the boss :) and also thank you for your feedback, i will look into it!
Never thought i'd get addicted to a game before
Im so glad you like it! :)
