Great job submitting a game and congrats on making the top 10! This is a really creative concept, especially within the two color limitation of the jam. You took a limitation and included it in your design, which I love to see. The use of lighting led to some great moments of discovery and lended itself to a more cautionary playstyle. It seems like trying to speedrun the game is encouraged since you post the time to complete on the endscreen. It was fun to memorize the pathway without having to utilize the character light. My best time was 1:1.

The player character sprite is super cute. The dust particles and moving lights helped give a lot of life to the environment. The plethora of checkpoints ensures the game is not frustrating which adds to the chill atmosphere of the game. Super polished experience. The ending is icing on the cake. Good work and thanks for participating!

Hey, you are the jam organizer! Thanks for playing Phillip, and sorry for replying after more or less a third of a year hahaha

Thanks for the compliments, really happy you enjoyed playing :) and it was great to make it to the top 10 with so many other great games on the jam.

Looking foward to participating on the next one, even if I have no ideas on what I would make at the moment haha thanks again for playing and commenting!

Really nice game! I included it in my Nokia 3310 Jam 4 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Thanks Jupiter, for playing and making a vid! Glad you enjoyed it!

Very impressive! A well implemented mechanic within the color limitation, crunchy sounds and a nice feel on the jump. Honestly remodel it for mobiles, you have something interesting here.

I really enjoyed this! It's a great concept, the controls feel very tight, and it's fun to play

Very pretty platformer. I found the lighting effects to be beautiful, and the light puzzle-like nature to be very fun! If I had to change anything, I would use Z instead of X to jump (tripped me up a few times), but other than that, great game!

Nice concept with great execution :D

Some how totally missed I could light myself up; but once that mystery was solved it took me 3:47

Awesome game! Love the clever use of the two tone display with the lighting mechanic. Very clever way of using this limitation to you advantage. Controls feel great! The inclusion of the finish time is good for speedrunning! Awesome game!

Nice game overall. My time was 2:35. I didn't realize the spikes were spikes at first. It looked like the first instance had them invisible, which doesn't help either.

Very nice game. The mechanic is simple yet fun. My poor platforming skills wanted a bit more checkpoints though. Finished it in a bit above 5 minutes.

Cool little game with an easy to understand mechanic, my time was 2:13.

Interesting concept of vision restrictions, took me 3:44 to pass (and one fall)
Well done, nice entry :)
