Great job submitting a game! I like your twist on the upgrade theme, upgrading the enemy/obstacles instead of the player. The overarching narrative with a faceless antagonist was also a cute and funny addition.
I was able to do a no-hit run without lasers or blocks by simply moving in a clockwise circle. It was fun to do a few runs with different combinations of upgrades to feel out which ones were easiest. Arcade mode was surprisingly difficult my top score was only 433. The retry button on the arcade mode doesn't seem to work it just refreshes the post game screen.
It was nice the hitboxes were so precise, sometimes I could maneuver my sprite so the spaces in between my body would pass through bullets. The lasers were definitely the most difficult obstacle for me. Great work on the sound design as well. Thanks for participating!
