Did your team create the assets yourselves?
How did you incorporate the theme and lore?
For the record, I created the graphics
The music and sfx however are from other sources.
The game is about breaking the system of the company (both figuratively and the actual management system).
The software that was given to the main character had the potential to change his life.
Also, the boss pays an unexpected visit and slams the door to signal that this was not the end, yet.

Loved the atmosphere going on! Graphics and sound were top notch. Gameplay was simple, but the level design added depth, forcing me to consider my positioning. Just well done!
Finally got around to playing this! Had to wait for a windows machine to play it on 😛
So glad i got to play it! That was very impressive, felt like a game I’d buy on the switch for a couple bucks - definitely agree with the others saying this was a full experience!
The graphics made it feel very very polished, amazing work on that, noticed you created it in the credits 👏
few notes for improvement:
- more game juice on impacts, such as slight screen shake, scale changes, position nudges, etc. (noticed a bit of juice like the boss’s attack, and the paper effect), this little work on impact would make wonders!
- not sure why exactly but sometimes my movement speed got halved, I don’t know what triggered it at all 🤷♂️ i thought it might have been me walking diagonally but it really just happened randomly (maybe not using fixedDeltaTime?)
but i’m really nitpicking here, amazing submission! 🙌
Your comment made my day! I wanted to do a lot more for this game but my full time job didn’t allow me much time to work witj, so hearing that it turned out alright is more than I wished for! And I agree that it needed more juice, I mean, the most fun shooters are the juiciest! Might visit this game later and improve on it a bit.
That was a very clean and polished game, you balanced the stages really well and you even had time for a boss fight. And the UI looks especially great, it fits very well with the office theme :D !
I think you should've made it a bit clearer that those papers (or work) actually damage you because I thought for a fair amount of time that they were only particles, but that might also just be me so don't worry.
Also I like how the co-workers smile the entire time, I mean its pretty normal: just a guy throwing pencils at them lol. You managed to put an amazing game together. Good job (pun intended)!
Fun game, and very nice concept.
The art was nice and the UI was very cool.
I didn’t understand the “health” bar though. When I threw the papers (space bar) then I lose all my health to the last bit? Not sure that’s very well explained.
Also after the boss (actual boss) battle I interacted with the door and the game crashed, so I cannot see what happens next. (I’m on linux playing under Wine, it might be related to that)
Love the concept, story and art style. Decently balanced mechanics/difficulty as well...not too tough but still presented a challenge. Good job!
Very polished, loved the art style. Difficulty was decently balanced. The boss fight was bugged though, she sat in the corner and didn't attack me.
Nice concept, but this gets repetitive very fast. For example, instead of just increasing the timer each round, why not add new enemies & /or weapons etc. I only made it to the third, level i think, so I'm not sure if you added it later on. It would have been nice if the map was bigger too, so the player could evade the enemies if they run out of pencils.
