good graphics, but some of the spikes & slime dont seem to do damage.

idk how I missed it lol. There seems to be an issue with movement after going fullscreen. The sword works, but wasd doesn't. This issue doesn't exist when it's minimized though..

I'm not sure why, but on firefox, the web player window's super small so the HUD's all over everything..

my drive's named D, i guess that's probably a major flaw in the game design, considering not everyone names their drive C...

Alright, so I tried it again, I realized that the actual game /launcher window appears underneath the terminal. However, there seems to be an issue with the game play, the step where it asks you to make a game folder,  the game doesn't seem to recognize it. here's what I'm seeing.

Thanks, i will definitely work on adding sound effects to my games in the future !

I tried to run your game, but i received the fallowing errors -   errors while opening game launcher

Also, this game is fairly large, if you want more people to try your game, you should definitely add images / a demo.

Nice concept, but this gets repetitive very fast. For example, instead of just increasing the timer each round, why not add new enemies & /or weapons etc. I only made it to the third, level i think, so I'm not sure if you added it later on. It would have been nice if the map was bigger too, so the player could evade the enemies if they run out of pencils.

This might have been a fun game, but i couldn't find the journal for the life of me. The graphics were really nice though, especially for a week long project.

Nice game, I really liked the animations and actual game play. It would have been nice if there were more levels/things to smash. The only issue i take is that at least 70% of the game is just dialog, if the dialog was any longer, I think i would have just left the game and not bothered playing. Overall funny concept  !

why not just make the collision bounds small, so that people can go into them, but not entirely?  Another solution would have been to give the box collision bounds, but not the player, so that the player can move the box from outside the map/in the walls.

It was an interesting concept to make an old school retro console based game, however, the text is very very repetitive, you need to press A to go to the next level, and after that, it says press A to restart, but you need to press A so that the text will disappear. This would certainly confuse most people. Now for the largest issue, there are no collision bounds, meaning that the game is essentially just push the box through everything, ruining the actual game play.

the graphics & concept seemed really cool, however for a 100mb indie game, it ran horribly on my laptop. What's more, whenever i pressed R to skip the intro, the gate would come out swinging and when i would collide with it, it would cause the game to lag really hard and restart from the beginning, and if i stepped back, I would be sent off the map.

I would imagine you needed an entire team just to make the animations. I liked the overall feel, but it seemed stale, in that it's mostly just an obstacle course.

nice game,  the only issues I had was that the collision detection would cause the player to get stuck, and have to adjust themself . Also , it would have been nice if the enemies could shoot at different heights etc, so that the player could doge them.

Yeah I get it. Wouldn't it have been a bit better if you had them go on their per-defined path, but when a player gets too close, have the enemy start chasing them?

how do you even code on a chromebook ?

I said it was similar, mine just had more features etc. Nice game btw

is there a problem?
