This is extremely well made and polished, but the amount of information and stuff to do is overwhelming! It also kinda felt like I was doing random actions with no real consequences...

It looks great! But I don't quite know what I did or if I even did good and what not. But it did look very polished so good job!

Thank you. Yes, I should have explained it better. It's a sandbox strategy/simulation, you are kind of free to do whatever you want with the broad goal of getting as much prestige and population as you can. :)

This game looks amazing it's incredible what you made out of that sprite pack, definitely the most creative use for the assets in the whole game jam.  For the game itself it's actually pretty neat sadly I didn't know hot to let a year pass until I read your comment, but after that I really enjoyed it. Over all really nice game and the Background / Art / Polish is amazing and incredibly well done.

I really appreciate that. While making I wasn't sure what people may think of the games style, it's good to see everyone liked it so far. That keeps me motivated!

I wish I had more time to add actual gameplay, more options, better simulation. But for a game jam it's hopefully fine anyways. Thank you!

This looks so great but to my shame I couldn't figure out how to progress. I spent my "allowance" and didn't know what to do next, figured it was a bug in the WebGL version so I downloaded the windows version but the same thing happened. I love how the game looks and the effect of the options coming out of the character looks great, the dirt texture as space, all amazing. Hopefully you can tell me if I did something wrong.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the style. :)

To progress a year you have to click the thronewith the mouse (in contrast to sitting on it with pop-ups), it worked in my tests. I agree that it's not intuitive, originally I had a larger spaceship with bedroom planned, where you could end the "day"/year but couldn't do that in time. :(
