Good job there! really nice atmosphere. My only complaint is that i couldn't read the text coz it was too small and i am a little bit blind xD I need to get some glasses.. Thank you for reminding me :D Overall, well done ;)

This game is really good artistically. I love the logo design and the overall aesthetic and world that's been built. It seems super mysterious and I want to explore it.

I did find a way to just jump over everything and actually spent some time seeing if I could jump over the whole forest in one go - not part of what you intended I know but I did have fun haha.

It felt a little too open-ended for me though, I found 2 items and got a sword as a reward from both. I think it would benefit a lot from either a bit more direction or more content in the world (I noticed in your description you planned on adding this, which I look forward to)

This game deserves a lot more ratings and eyes on it to be honest, I think there's a lot of potential here. Well done.

Thank you very much. As has been said before it's all just a concept, the whole jam time was spent mostly on figuring out how generic things would work better together in the process and overall design (feeling of the game), of course the existing content is basically just a placeholder as you can tell. I thought if plenty of players would be interested in it to be continued I'd take a chance to push it further, but as of now I don't think it's really worth putting much more time into it, sadly.

That all makes sense. I've followed you so I can see what else you create!

Solid game. The music and atmosphere hooked me in from the start. After a while the game got kind of confusing though and the jump feature took challenge out of most things. I think focusing more on exploration, atmosphere and story are the way to go here.

Nice music and somewhat spooky aesthetic. The rotation of the sword graphic depending on what direction the mouse was in was neat.

It looks and sounds very nice. You had something where the jump sound was slightly different, right? it was a nice touch.

I did find the game to be fairly confusing however, outside of finding the apple i wasn't really given any direction to go. I only worked out it was the stone area because i saw it procedurally generate when i was about to enter it. (i asssume it's a glitch). Anyway i managed to get the apple, meat, coin, bomb and something else but then i got stuck. I think the NPCs being more direct/helpful would have helped to work out what i needed to do next.

In addition the text boxes and mouse click icon was very small.
Otherwise, great job on the presentation, it strongly gave off the sense that i was in an enchanted forest.

Thank you for the feedback, especially for mentioning the small size of UI elements. The random pitch of the same sounds is what's being used in thousands of simple games and what I've been doing since my first games many years ago. Sorry for the confusion, I wanted to give players some little feeling of adventure and let them to explore the quite tiny thing I've built for the concept demo, you supposed to follow the road to meet other villagers. The cave re-generation is intended, of course it should not be seen, I guess that happened after I've changed the game's resolution or trigger collider size, oops.
