Nice solid game! Although some people did not like the controls, I actually thought the game played just fine on mouse. I understand it is not conventional, but I am a sucker for unique control schemes. The medals you get that rank up as you grab the last several orbs was a great addition. It really made me want to keep going for that gold medal. I also think the music was catching and fir the game and style very well.

My final score was 929.68! Controls was hard at first but I got used to it and it became a challenge to try and stay steady! I like the presentation with the phone screen!

Good concept and quite fun to play.  I can't add much to the comments you've already received because you've answered them well :-)  I also had the bird leave the screen, but I worked out that if you try to rotate back, the background movement can be used to work out which way you're flying.  It's only a real problem if you've gone too far off screen.

I didn't like the music, but the rest was good. I played in browser so the game was in a super small window, and sometimes my bird would suddenly change direction. Still a good game.

I played this on my iPad, and it responded well to the touch controls. I really liked the retro look and feel of the game; I had fun!
