I really liked how you implemented the death mechanic on your game.  I felt that it played with the player's curiosity of knowing what's in there, and the construction of your levels was very well executed. The only thing that I noticed is that I couldn't move with the buttons it said there, but maybe we have different keyboards. Anyway, you did an amazing job. I streamed it on my twitch, in case you want to watch it.


An interesting idea executed really well! I liked that each death revealed more information about the level and that, in theory, you could beat the game without dying (and a lot of muscle memory)

Very clean. Lovely sounds, nice sprites and effects. You nailed the concept, I'm getting Super Pig vibes I don't know if you are familiar, it was an old flash game with the same concept.

A really great game! Looks clean and polished! The control queues given in the game in the beginning were for the Xbox controller I guess, but no worries!

The art style and the blood effects are great, and the concept is really clever! Switching to different palettes looked cool!

This game had the most cleverest use of death as a mechanic that I have seen so far! A bit unfortunate that it was quite laggy on my device which took away from the experience but despite that the concept, art implementation and game mechanics were really creative! Well done!


Glad you liked it! Slowdown is most likely due to all of the calculations running for the blood effects. I’ll have to make optimizations for the next build!


At the second level, my character doesn't seem to spawn.

The art and concept of the game is genius!!

hmm, 3 questions:

  1. which level was it?
  2. did you do anything specific before the next level loaded?
  3. can you replicate it?

Also in version 2.4 it might be fixed


The problem is fix in 2.4!
I love the concept of this game, great job ;)
