Fun little game, cute cloud and cool enemy designs :) Took me a minute to figure out I wasn't meant to click one at a time, but rather spam the lightning. Good level of difficulty, although I think this game style could benefit from a portrait style aspect ratio rather than landscape, especially considering how tall the enemies are you have very little time to react to them once things speed up.

Fun game! I enjoyed that the enemies health was represented by their eye color. If you wanted to keep working on it, maybe making it wave based with an upgrade shop for longer lightning or a screen clearing ability the player could spend score on would be nice. Add in some enemy variety and you'd have a solid game. The only real complaint I have is capitalizing the "g" in God during the opening text. Otherwise, solid game!

as already mentioned in a comment below, i also had some trouble with the difficulty. at first i thought "ok, hey, thats way too easy" and then i died the other second. maybe you could improve that in a future update :)

overall i enjoyed playing your game! i esp. liked the eye enemies (+ changing their color when hit)!

Having the player as a cloud was definitely among the first ideas I had when I saw the theme and restriction of this jam; but I didn't know what to do with the concept so I buried it. Seeing someone actually turning the idea into something passable is definitely a joy.

Houston, we have got a problem. In my browser at least I think some parts of the screen got cut.

Gameplay wise... the difficulty curve is kind of... LOL. I don't know how the spawn frequency increases with time, but at 5000pts the summoning rate jumped so quickly.

Art-wise... at least this doesn't suffer from inconsistent pixel sizes like some of the games so far but... did you stretch the cloud or something? Some pixels look stretched there.

P.S. the music definitely fits the game.

Many people have told me about the problems with the increasing difficulty. Knowing precisely all the mechanics of the game, I also managed to reach 20,000 points, I should have had the game tested by someone else. Thanks very much for your comment!

I liked the fact the demons eyes were changing of colour when hitted.

I believe the game needs to have a smoother difficulty increase: we go from "Naaaah, that's super easy" to "Oh Lord, what the hell it happening?" in a snap... :)

Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well.

Very cool. I like the sprites a lot. It would be great to see enemies have a "hit" animation, because at first I didn't know they were getting hit by my lightning bolt. Well done!

Great game! Clean animations and nice soundtrack. The one thing I would add though is upgrades. Without them, I think the game becomes literally impossible at the ~4000-5000 point stage. Other than that though, nice job! I think this is a very fun, relaxing time killer.

Neat. I like how the cloud opens his mouth when he moves.

I just saw a problem using a laptop with a strange aspect ratio, if you have aspect ratio problems, try playing in full screen.
