Very original concept and use of the limitation, I enjoyed it! I really liked the soul shop, although I wish it had been explained in the rules section because I didn't even know about it until I had already let 11 souls escape, but it seemed well balanced. I think sometimes the souls appear a little too close to the edge of the screen, and they can be hard to see. I like the mechanic of switching colors, but I almost feel like the colors should be bound to keys to change because getting from one color to another quickly can be impossible at times with how the souls are scattered. I had a big problem with the music though, I think there was some kind of bug because I heard 2 audio tracks playing at the same time and they were colliding and it sounded awful, I had to mute it after a minute. Clearly this was not intentional so I hope you find out how to fix it as the music did sound nice before that happened. Some sound effects for when the souls appear and get sucked in would be the icing on the cake too!
By the way, thanks for your feedback. First time I heard of this music issue, I'll investigate on it!
I'm taking in account all your comments for the next jam :)
your game is very good. I liked it. It's really fun, easy to play, it's really cool.
Made it to 3040!
I was pleasantly surprised by the existence of the upgrade shop. The difficulty curve was a bit static with long periods of time without anything happening, but overall I thought the mechanics and concepts were fun. I appreciated the architecture of the house, and felt a bit evil hoping for the taxi to run over more people so I could do my job :P
Thank you for this feedback.
I agree I should have made a more agressive difficulty curve but didn't due both to time and to my knowledge limitation so far ;)
what a nice game, I really like the consept you went with here, also i like the music you chose, really fits the atmosphere.
Thank you very much!!!
it was a nice game, but i think the gameplay bit repetitive
if have levels, would be very good :)
Cool idea :) I had a fun collecting the souls- although struggled to get the colour to match when too many died at once.
Adding a store was a nice touch :)
Thanks! :)
Yeah, collecting souls with the good color is tough, but I had to balance with the time between two sould to collect. Not enough time: to difficult. Too much time: boring :)
