Great concept, but the game is way too short

Thanks - and yeah, I overestimated my ability for this jam for sure haha!

Small but really fun game, I've never seen a game that could convince me that my mouse had weight!

I just want more levels!

Thanks for playing and yeah that was the intended experience! Glad you liked it and I'll try to add a bit more stuff here

I enjoyed the game! The mouse mechanic was indeed unique, although I have to admit that sometimes I would've preferred being able to drag the boxes instead of the physics-based mouse. Maybe I just needed more levels to get used to it. :D The levels were enough to demonstrate the concept, but I would've liked to see a few more challenging puzzles!

Glad you enjoyed the game and thanks for playing! Yeah there are a few other features which could potentially make the experience a bit more cohesive here but since they're missing I understand how it might feel a bit off. Still, I find there is something special about not having full control over a mouse like you're used to and perhaps a different mechanic could bring that out better!

Ok genuinely: This caught me off guard and I thought it was a pretty cool concept. There's something weird about seeing your cursor be able to push around boxes. It almost feels like there's more weight to it than normal, I can't quite explain it :-)

Very cool. Building a box bridge made me feel smart. I like feeling smart.

But it was too short! I want more! :D

Haha, thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, the "weight" and physics of it was the feeling I was going for, even though I didn't have time to put in more. It's kind of an odd feeling like the mouse can't go across anything anywhere anymore like it's contained in some way.

I used Firefox to play it, and the mouse cursor drags itself to the bottom right at all times so I had to fight the mouse cursor a bit. I'm not sure if it's a feature or a bug lol but as you noted to use Chrome as other browsers are untested, I thought as I don't have Chrome I'll test it on Firefox   (ノ´∀`)ノ lol

Very cool though, I like puzzle games, the third level was interesting and having the features you mentioned added to it in the future will make a nice fleshed out game experience

Haha thanks for testing anyways! What you're describing seems like a bug unfortunately and I think this is primarily due to Love.js, I don't know how battle-tested it is when it comes to mouse-lock on the window. Chrome works fine, but Safari has mouse being veery slow for example.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I never made puzzle games before but I have some ideas for this project and I plan to flesh it out a bit more so it's not just a minute of gameplay XD

Well done. It’s a bit awkward at first when your mouse doesn’t fully follow you as it normally does (cause i can get stuck on things) but once you get used to this it’s a fun little experience.

Developer

Thanks! Yes, making the mouse more "physical" was the intention here but unfortunately I ran out of time to really play around with the implications. Glad you enjoyed it!
