Good work. The changing coloured walls gimmick is pretty fun to play around with.

Level 13 took me a while to figure out tbh, I went way to hard on trying to have B call A again XD Was a lot of fun! Great work, great puzzles.
Someone recommended me to check out this game since it’s similar to mine, and I’m glad I did. I love it. (Ps. re-cursor by VanguardShark is also somewhat similar to our puzzle games, but again slightly different. You might enjoy it also!)
I liked the maze, the soundtrack, the changing maze gimmick and the visuals, but this is one of the few times were I think it would be better without the mouse controls. It was more of a frustrating replacement to keyboard controls rather than a unique gimmick.
Still very much well done! I enjoyed it overall!
I had planned a hint system that removed instructions that you didn’t need to use. Honestly I should’ve removed a few “fakeout” instructions in the last 3 levels. Adding those was not the right approach to make the levels more difficult. Just clutters your ability to plan something out.
EDIT 2025-11-18: I added a toggle to the game that removes unneeded instructions
Congrats, you made an actual fun version of TicTacToe. As in, I can see myself playing this against someone else. It is also super easy to understand.
I tried to run this on my phone and it works perfectly fine. With a bit of fine-tuning i would put this on my phone to play against my friend on a train trip.
With that in mind, a few bug are present:
- Occasionally, when presented to chose which board to put your X or O on, it wrongly selects the board. I thought at first it was random.
- Are you supposed to be able to put an X/O on an occupied space? Cause (on mobile) i fat-fingered and threw away my turn a few times because of this :p
Great work!
It is not mine, as mentioned in the description I used Anokolisa’s free asset pack: Pixel Crawler
Haha, fun concept. Though, it gets boring once you get to big. It’s fun to squach huge groups of enemies at once, but only for a bit.
If you decide to work this into a larger game, I think it would be cool if you can use your mass as currency for upgrades.
I also like that killing the enemy doesn’t make you big instantly, but you have to pick up the remains or otherwise the enemy seems to pick it up and grow instead. Atleast, I think that’s what’s happening.
