Love the concept and the core gameplay loop.

I did find it sad though that you have a pretty small limit on expanding, while the whole point of cookie clicker games usually is that your "speed" increases exponentially for a long time and the numbers get ridiculously big.

I did also like the assets & atmosphere btw!

Thanks for playing! I had to keep the scope small just due to the time limitations of the jam. I'm going to keep working on this and plan to add more sub-layers to expand into, exactly with exponential increases in resources and production.

Great concept! I wish there was an option to view previous instructions again. For example, there was an instruction on how to create an factory with 3-4 sentences. I read the first 2 sentences which explains how to create a factory, which I then did to see what a factory looks like, but then the instruction disappeared, so I could no longer read the full description. I restarted the game to read it. :)

Once I knew what to do, it was relaxing experience thanks to the nice visuals and great background music!

Developer

Thanks for playing! That sounds like a great option to add. Maybe I'll put it in the form of a "Factory User and Safety Manual" you can refer back to at any point.

Love the use of the recursion. A couple of bugs with the automation of synthesis not working at all times or also some of the items being crafted but not really (like the thingy number didn’t increase at time).

Overall great idea, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I'll take a look at the automation bug, it was a feature I added at the very last second so I'm almost surprised it works at all!

Loved that you used Godot, open source good ( ・∀・)っ凵凵c(・∀・ )

There's a couple of bugs when I try it, I know it said we shouldn't go down past Depth 4, but am I not supposed to actually get to Depth 5? as it'll randonly let me into Depth 5 and kind of break lol

I'm also getting stuck in different Depths, the screen goes white and I can only go down to the previous depths, and sometimes the items don't carry up to the top. But I finished though ∠(*・ω・)っ⌒由 I am definately not beating the high score but I wasn't letting a few bugs stop me lol

Developer(+1)

Awesome! Yeah, I  saw the Depth 5 and white screen bug once during testing but I have no idea how to reproduce it. I'm going to keep trying to figure it out, don't want people getting stuck down there!

A cookie clicker with multiple levels of recursion and even time dilation 😄I like it!

I appreciated the info box on the bottom right, but I still wasn't 100% sure how to get my thingies from the bottom level to the top level. It wasn't super clear to me how the various depths related to eachother (apart from how I liked depth 4 the most because numbers go up the fastest there.)

I also really liked the tongue in cheek currency naming conventions. 😉

Developer

Thanks for playing! Totally agree, I could use more explanation text. It's on the list of things to do for the next version, along with depth-specific resources and devices.
