Thank you so much 😁

Really cool all the details you put in this game, the casino atmosphere is top notch!

Yep, it’s actually more complicated than that:

  • each wheel gives you 1 coin per spin, no matter what
  • each wheel gives you a base score of +1 per spin, no matter what
  • otherwise, money and score are actually unrelated: money doesn’t give you points, and points don’t give you money either

But you’re right, it should be more clear in-game, just didn’t have time to do it within the game jam.

Thanks!

Oh god you’re right, that’s so embarrassing 😂 Yep, it should be written x(2+2+2), my bad, wasn’t totally awake when I added the result log

Oh god you’re right, that’s so embarrassing 😂 This was part of a game jam and I added the result log at the last minute, wasn’t really awake anymore that this point haha. Thanks for pointing this out, unfortunately it’s too late to push an update for the jam otherwise I’d fix it right away.

Thank you! Yes the extreme rng as main mechanic was a big challenge. Really curious to see what you made since you started with the same core idea. Will give it a try next!

Glad you enjoyed it so much, thank you! :)

Thank you so much! Glad you liked it :)

Thanks for playing :)

Nice, thanks for the clarification, I gave it another try and left a comment. Very impressive, well done!

Will also update my rating. Good luck!

First of all, very impressive the work you’ve done in such a small amount of time. I made platformers before and they are in no way easy to make. And making that many abilities in one week is just madness. Well done.

A few quick shot comments:

  • 0 to exit the wheel menu is very weird, I always tried to exit the menu with escape, which gets me out of fullscreen, quite annoying
  • on death we should restart on the same screen we died on, getting respawned at the start is very frustrating when you’re just exploring and trying out things (like the first time you jump in water, you have no way to know it’ll kill you)
  • spin animation is too long

Anyway, great entry. As I said, impressive you’ve made this in only one week. Well done!

The animation at the beginning is top notch

Neat art and idea!

Art looks great however wasd or arrow keys doesn’t seem to work for me. Running on Firefox. The game responds to some inputs, for instance Z/shift to start on the main screen worked no problem. Just ingame wasd/arrows don’t do anything. E (swap abilities) seems to work ingame.

If it gets fixed I’ll give it another go :)

Edit: thanks for the fix, I edited my ratings!

Cool idea! :D

Yep, that part needs some balancing, thank you for playing! :)

Oh damn, good catch, not supposed to happen. Will fix asap. Thanks for playing!

Edit: fixed in 0.1.2!

I know the struggle, also got a bad summer cold mid-way through the jam and that made it very difficult to make something in time. Don’t beat yourself up, that kind of things just happens :)

Couldn’t help but to have a big smile while reading your text. I hope your dog got what they wanted and then treated you well in return!

Thanks for the nice comment :)

Good point, will do. Thanks for playing!

Yep the tooltip is very buggy when zooming out the upgrade tree. I should probably disable zooming out until this is fixed to be honest.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback! I’m happy you liked it :) Sorry for the tooltip bug

Edit: fixed in the latest update (v0.1.7).

You’re right by build I meant buying all upgrades. Not all upgrades are mandatory but if you got them all then it’s definitely possible to fill the overfeed bar fully. And the strategy you describe is pretty good, when you have the damage aura you can go against the crowd and snatch a lot of cells. By this time, you gain 1s of time every cell you absorb so it’s really about “can I absorb a new cell every 1 second”

It’s a good point, I’ll experiment with spawning enemies a lot lower than you when you get to 30, or at least more gradually get to your level. Thanks for the feedback!

You can beat it with the right build :)

I’m curious what was your build or general progress when you where stuck on this. It shouldn’t be frustrating, so if it was, then maybe it’s something I can improve. If you have more info I’m interested. Thanks for playing!

Cool video and interesting feedback, taking notes for future updates :) Thanks for playing, I hope you had fun!

Dev here o/

I’m looking for feedback, let me know what you thought of this :)

Also looking for a partner and a capsule artist. More info above in the game description if you think you’d fit one of these.

Cool gameplay, reminds me how much I love parkour games. The kick which is actually a graple is genious but I needed to read the instructions on the game’s page to understand it after playing a second time. Would be great if it was more clear ingame. Anyway, great entry, well done!

Thank you for playing! Yes the CPU’s reaction time is too good as of right now, maybe in an update :)

agar.io, it was the main inspiration indeed. Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback! Maybe in an update :)

Thank you, glad you liked it. I don’t know about Liquid War, the main inspiration was agar.io

Not a skill issue, a comeback mechanic is definitely needed. Didn’t have time to make balance adjustments yet :)

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!

Thank you for the feedback! Yes I know music and sfx would probably be the next logical thing to add. I just didn’t have time :)

Love the use of the recursion. A couple of bugs with the automation of synthesis not working at all times or also some of the items being crafted but not really (like the thingy number didn’t increase at time).

Overall great idea, good job!

Lot’s of polish, well done. The zombies are really slow though, I wish there was a x2 button. I stopped after round 2 because of this unfortunately. Really great presentation and fun concept, again, well done!

Good clicker game, I wish there was more options and bonus to get!

The trees needs to be in a grid, the scrolling UI is a bit clunky.

Well done!

Do it!

No differences, I was planning more to the game but ended up short on time and I decided to wrap it up by cutting lot of things. The depths being all the same is one of them. Thank you for the feedback! :)
