This was a great arcade game! Most people already know the rules, but with a spicy twist it changes up the dynamic! The graphics are simple, but that's entirely the point, and the SFX are utilitarian in its purpose. This was really fun to play, great job!

This has a strong classic feel, and is very well-implemented. The controls are excellent and the physics work well.
Although I appreciate the generous serving of extra lives, the enemy paddle still beat me pretty hard every time. :) I was, however, very gratified each time the ball bounced off the *top* of the enemy paddle. Muahahahaha.
Good original game! Personally dont think it the best use of the limitation but it still fits well! Maybe you could have made it so the enemy mimics your location? yet still quite enjoyable! Very difficult but the other player AI is good as well. Nice game!

Sometimes the ball release was a bit to fast for me. But the rest was really fun.
nice one! the theme is.. well.. satisfied i guess? open to interpretation, i think.
i quite liked the combo of pong and brick breaker. though the enemy seems more of a bot rather than "me".
a few notes on the gameplay: as already pointed out by others- the ball respawn was a bit quick, so i would often lose it again. and sometimes the ball goes in a very different direction than you would expect when bouncing off a paddle.
this seems to happen mostly when its close to the edge of the paddle or you're moving really fast.
other than that, solid, fun game
An interesting combo of the limitations and classic games! I think it has some real potential- the ball release was a bit fast for my reflexes but it was fun getting the hang of it! Nice work :D
Absolute fun. Though I think the limitation is not fully implemented (as the clone just automatically seeks the ball on proximity). Great game nonetheless :)
Thanks! I think it might have been better if the clone moved along the same lines as the original bat to make the limitation more justifiable. But it was making the game very easy to play. So I decided to add a very simple AI which made the game dynamic and fun to play. Thanks for your review, and it would be great if you can suggest how to improve this game, and set up the limitation more effectively :)
Thank You! I am glad you liked the game. I came up with this idea very late, about 7-8 hours before the jam deadline lol. Before that, I had tried implementing the limitation using Pacman as well as Galaga, but the limitation did not suit those games much. I was about to sleep when I got the idea, and then I stayed up all night for this game lol. Once again, thanks for the positive feedback :)
Fun, I enjoyed it. It would have been really cool to have the enemy clone's movement be affected by your own as well in some way.
