What an insane game, this game is one of the dark horses of the jam, TRULY.  Amazing visuals, audio,  the game was clearly crafted by a artisan, because you obviously know what you're doing! I'm going to write this review, and then I'm gonna hop back in and keep playing! Because that's how good your game is!

(No seriously, absolutely killer work. You nailed it.)

I really liked the ambition that you had to make this game concept with! As you know, the game crashes on the second customer, but I really like the idea of having to choose correct dialogue options and survive encounters with correct menu items. If you ever fix this up in the future I would love to play it!

Great work!

I had to minimize my screen for the game to work, a fullscreen button would have been nice. On the game itself, its a resource manager, so you accrue knowledge and materials and spend your time wisely each day to grow your crop. If there was a fullscreen, I could better appreciate the lovely visuals and the nice radial menu symbols that appear on them. There were not any strong themes of horror (which you did note in your description).

Great job!

Short little experience, I liked the idea of going through the different rooms, wish there was more!

Great job!

Really great tense gameplay, music and crickets keeping you on your toes, you listen to the crackle of the flames while you set a bear trap outside, I love it! The UI was a little small to understand at first, but after playing and understanding resource gathering it clicked for me.

Great stuff!

Music really helps sell the story a lot, I really enjoyed it!

Good job!

Figuring out how to move in this game was a struggle (and eventually, a delight). You really work your way to every single flower, all with the most peaceful melody and cute graphics.

Good job!

Going into this, was confused by the perspective, but it clicked for me once I started throwing around things into cauldrons, storing other things in chest, avoiding the witch, the game loop is fun! And I love the sound effects.

Great job!

I really, really like it! It's a nice change of pace, with a little spooky twist, but honestly I found it all so delightfully soothing.

Great job!

Short and simple, proof of a concept. I think the art was quite nice, wish there was more music and levels (loved the little cutscenes, btw).

Good stuff, keep it up!

That was very cool! I loved the gritty shader you used to make the game feel faded and jagged, it really help set the tone.

Great job!

Well that was really nice! Really like the audio and the art that went along with the story! There were some repeated strings of dialogue, but nothing enough to stop me from CONTAINING. THE. FROG.

Amazing stuff!

Very simple game, couldn't enter the houses if that was the intention, wish camera was zoomed out a bit more.

Great start!

The game art is INSANE, I am also being driven insane by how to move through the space, but that's okay! I really like the drop of story you gave before dropping us in, it gives me more purpose to attempt to explore this world.

Great job!

While I don't understand the lore of the game, I very much understand the intention, and I think the idea comes across very well as human struggling with identity and if they want to hold on to their past lives. I think there was a little bit mish-mash of art style, which was a bit confusing visually, but the assets all looked good seperatly.

Great stuff!

Amazing stuff all around with the art and the music and how good it feels to flap,  the disquieting atmosphere seems very simple, and then BAM! you're hit with why the camera moves as it does...

Good job!

What a fantastic environment! I really like the controls and the level building made to evade the monster (although sometimes it wouldn't play fair).

Great job!

This children's book is pretty weird... it's got these cool amazingly drawn pages, but then it starts getting all twisted and dark, and.... oh god, I see that same book on my desk.

Great job!

Short and sweet, sickly sweet... Love the visuals and the happy-go music! More dialogue scenarios would have been cool.

Great job!

Really liked the ideas of the rooms, where you had to avoid the toads by completing each room's unique challenge. Would have been nice to have a sort of story, or reasoning for some of the visuals you see.

Great job!

Such a great concept, done so well! I could get lost in the forest for hours...

Great job!

Very cool slashing game,  graphics look amazing, just wish more enemies would come and spawn to refill space inside the tornado and on the bottom of the pond. I appreciate the elements of slight horror in the enemy designs.

Great stuff!

The art looks so cool! I love the amount of detail you were able to cram in here. Gunplay for me felt good, my one critique is that licking fast moving smaller enemies is hard, because you usually end up licking the ground instead, and anchoring yourself as the creeps surround you.

Great game!

The horror at the end of the game may shock you...

Very cool idea, by having the vending machine have the food you need, but the bullets are outside the door, so you need to juggle back and forth. I feel however the walk is too dang slow, or there is not enough life given back from a can of food to make survival worthwhile. Art and sound effects are really nice though.

Great job!

Very interesting use of angles and sightlines to create moments where you feel powerless, just trying to survive. There were some camera angles that were slightly frustrating, the leap of faith towards the camera near the beginning and the ledge climbing towards the camera near the ending staircase mainly. Otherwise, really liked it!

Great job!

Presentation is stellar, it's very refined, and I want to keep playing to get the best time.

Amazing job!

Gripping narrative, minimalist graphics holding such terrible secrets. I honestly don't know if audio would have helped the experience or not, I was invested either way.

Well done!

What a delightful game! A really nice, grimy balancing act of the lives of frog and rats and bugs. It's very well done.

Great job!

Loved the elements of this game, and the environment in which the denizens live it (and the beautiful art that goes with it). Music was great, the text at certain sections was askew (even in fullscreen), but for example the robed frog questions I just had to click the bottom right and I was able to finish the game.

Great job!

HOLY amazing art and programming, this was a DELIGHT to play. Love the idea of holding out the screams, just didn't love their volume.

Great game!

Very simple, but effective! I thought the clock would be part of the code, but no, it wasn't. Loved the artstyle and the minimalism of the environment.

Great job!

A demented game, but one with great pixel artwork, and voiceover too! And I really loved how you used the limitation (no spoilers).

Frighteningly done!

two frogs talking on a pond.... its deep, its beautiful, its good.

Carnage for the sake of carnage, I love it! I get the music getting more and more tinny was a desired effect, just wasn't the biggest fan of it personally. Loved the art.

Great game!

Amazing, amazing game, even with the number of buildings you have, everything feels beautifully operations and gameplay flows great. It's deceptively tricky timing your resource gathering and defenses, and also being able to heal your turrets is nice.

Great job!

Giving us a workout, typing and dodging, what a fantastically tasty game! I really, really liked it!

Great job!

Rotation got some getting used to, but this was very fun! Hiding in lockers was something I had to learn, but then understand every encounter I had with the frog demon. Wish there was some sound to add to the spookiness.

Great job!
