Nice player art. Not sure how I felt about being able to slide up the corners of a wall, felt like a bug that was necessary to complete the level which shouldn't really be the case as far as bugs go. Also I couldn't really tell size having that much of an impact on the gameplay, the player seemed to get small too slowly.
I played through the whole thing. You took a really simple concept and did a LOT with it. I'm seriously impressed, especially for your first jam. well done
i love the game idea and mechanics for using your size as life. Very creative!
Would have been been nice to have a score system or health bar to visualise how you are doing.
Yes I am planning to fix the colliders and on the ground and corners as well as improve the enemies a bit and a health bar to indicate your size. There also might be some collectibles such as when you hit an enemy it drops a potion which makes you bigger and all that. I could really expand this now that I'm typing out these ideas.....
Nice game! The jumping sometimes didn't work properly, and it could be a bit longer, (though I understand the time restraint is probably the main reason for that) but I liked the art and sound. I think it'd be great if you expanded on this in the future!
This is a really solid entry, well done. Good mechanics and idea, excellent pixel art.
