hey, i'm not usually a fan of platformers, but this was well done!

The sound was VERY loud and glitchy, it really hurt my ears :( a loud ringing sound as described below

killed slimes and got pennies. nice.

what engine did you use to make this?

I wanted to play but it doesn't run on firefox :(

It says:

Warning!

The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:

Cross Origin Isolation

SharedArrayBuffer

there is! if you don't defeat anything you can get an alternate end

this is one of the most real games i have ever played, though i am uncertain how the theme works in

regardless, five stars

omg i felt like spiderman
delightful game

this game is 2 hard 4 me
nice wall memes

awwwwww man, i LOVE the concept of the game. The only thing preventing me from giving it a perfect rating is that the player movement is really loose and floaty. The idea to use blocks to make staircases up is very inventive. Well done.

hey this is a really solid game! i think the pacing is a little slow and and we should get to shop more often, but this is one of the better entries i've played!

Hey, thanks for the super detailed response! There's a lot we had to cut in order to get the game done and balanced on time, and you bring up a lot of really good ideas for how we can make it more accessible! After the jam ends we will make the game more accessible in many of the ways you have described here.

There is a pacifism ending! But you need to very careful (and lucky) to get it haha

REAL unique artstyle, fun dialog too

(1 edit)

relaxing game

even got satie on the keys there, nice

ALSO in pure js without an engine, double nice

(1 edit)

oooh that lock on concept is a good idea

solid game, the lighting system was neat
if there's one thing i could suggest, a sound effect for when you get hurt?

one of the most delightful jam games i've ever played

ha, get it

seriously though, the polish on this one is unreal

WOW bonking the blobs with the spike ball is fun and really satisfying
this is probably the best mechanic i have seen so far this jam

honestly it was very addicting
is the strawberry speed burst random?

i could not figure out how to leave the first room :'(
also, ditto on requiring one hit instead of three

neat game! you've heard it before but the audio was pretty loud. Consider adding two or three tops to fight instead of one at a time?

Amazingly clever and deceptively hard.
5/5

Incredibly creative take on the theme. Felt good to play and the art was nice.
I liked it a lot

i think this is my favorite game of the bunch.
good gameplay and a nice difficulty curve.

well done.

nice game! very simple and to the point.

I ended up falling out of the map!
fun entry though, a way to try again quickly would have been nice

i spent a while playing this but could not find any cats

maybe i needed to look harder?

dang, didnt expect a gritty war simulator for openjam

but you did good

upgrades/new weapons could be something to add in the future

great atmosphere! even if the elderly get annoying sometimes.

I will have a look at this!

nope! all ages

this game is weeeeiirrd
in the best possible way

5/5

the mouse controls were super duper unconventional, nice work there.
this game is HARD

congrats on finishing your first jam!!! that's a big accomplishment. I have never played a toast-based zombie game so mad props

game looks rad but I'm unable to unlock the third level despite playing the first 2 - should I try the windows build?

At first I was like "man this game is gonna be too easy" and then the spike walls came in and i ate my words

I'd consider changing the jump sound, it got a bit annoying after a while, other than that, nice work!

What a creative entry!!!! Even with the wall jumping this was a really good game

Other people have said this, but I think the rate at which speed increases could be doubled or maybe even tripled.

That being said, solid mechanics and an awesome soundtrack make this one of the best entries I've played. Got a soundcloud?

There's one thing I would really like to see changed about this game - Clicking another object should automatically uncontrol any other controlled objects, having to right click to uncontrol doesn't seem natural, there were a few times where i forgot to uncontrol an object and couldn't use others.

The design is very cool though, I've not seen any other games do this theme

the game is GORGEOUS, and I appreciate the use of Vivaldi  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It played fine! But I would have liked to see the cursor on the screen- so I know where I'm aiming.
Also, I would have liked to see some twist on the music, I'm guessing you guys didn't record that lmao

That's a great point, I think I'll change that post-jam. Thanks!
