Took me a while to figure out what was going on. The description wasn't clear that shift/LMB switches the direction of gravity, so I couldn't form any intuition of the block's behavior for the first 20 attempts or so. After that, there are a few spots where you seemingly can't avoid falling off the screen, thus requiring careful planning planning of the route, which (to me) somewhat defeats the purpose of making this a speed running game. There is no forgiveness for getting your route wrong, and no visual cues to let you know you should be approaching high or low. Maybe I'm just missing something.

The mechanic is really cool once you figure it out! I just wish it was more intuitive.

EDIT: So I realized there is a constant unintended Left-move input, making it harder than it should be. At the time I thought that was part of the gameplay, but I've since seen it in a few other games. It might be a Win10 thing, but it's a bummer because I want to finish the level!

I didn't understand mechanics well. I don't think I was able to enjoy your game properly.
I missed sounds.

The concept is original ! I liked the main idea, however I think that the camera is not well suited for following the player actions, often I was screwed by the camera (instead of my skills x) ).

Furthermore, for me the force feedback when jumping was sometimes too strong, it was like to launch a space rocket ^^ 

But overall, your game is pretty cool ! :)

Yeah, I made it so you retrieve your momentum if you jump and ground-pound before swapping sides. Although it was a bad idea, as I can see.

It's propably just me, but i can't exit the first room.

What should i do?

You have to jump on the big "button". There's two white rectangles("buttons") on the ground, and one is already activated, the other is pressable.
If you already did that, you have to press shift or left-click while on ground to go under the room.

Oh, I just realized, I had a force field between the two buttons, but it seems to have disappeared in the build.
Basically, you're not allowed to go left, you have to press shift or left-click.

Heyo, I see you used Unity 2020 - I also tried to make a web build with 2020 and it had the same issue (I took it down) :| gonna use 2019 next time :)

Woah took me a while to figure out what's going on and that I have to go right and not left :D

Checkpoints - as Amin already said - that definitely is what this needs :D And sound would be cool.

Yeah, I saw your message on discord. I had no issues with Unity 2020 before the jam, but I guess I should've been more vigilant.

I really want to remake the game some day, and making music and sounds for it is what motivates me to do so, since I didn't really have time for that because I was short on time.
Also, I didn't really want to add checkpoints, because the game is actually pretty short if you get the hang of it, so I was scared people would judge it's length, but if I remake the game and make it longer, that's definitely something I will add. Thanks for the feedback!

It's buggy, but certainly not unplayable.


Did you check the controls on the game's page? When you press shift/left click midair you ground-pound instead of switching sides and if you keep it pressed until you hit the next wall, you'll swing up and down faster because your momentum doesn't get reset.


Did you download the executable, or for some reason you could play in the browser? I don't know what the browser version looks like, so if you did, I would suggest you try playing using the executable.

Despite it constantly moving me to the left, I was able to figure out what I wasn't getting the first time. I really like the idea! It's challenging in a very good way! I just can't let go of right, but it works. Glitchy still, but playable. :)

you have to move to the right and click left mouse button to switch between dark/light and press space to jump. I got nearly a minute to the right. No checkpoints :)

you're correct i had to download the game to test it.  With no text on screen for instructions it took a bit to get the controls.  Mouse click was the game changer.
