Pretty good Arts !
A little bit repetitive.

Developer

Thank you ! :)

Yes, it is one of the flaw that I will tackle on this project when I will rework on it.

Quite charming :) It would be cool if you could move with the WASD keys to compliment the mouse, and having the enemies attack from both sides would mix things up :D

Developer

Thank you ! :)

I take note for the WASD keys ! And for the spawners, I wanted to do that, but it didn't work as expected, so it is buggy at this time ^^"

gets boring pretty quickly and is confusing, but has got some nice visuals

Developer

Thank you for your comment, indeed, the gameplay gets old quickly, I was eaten alive by time, so I couldn't put some love to the gameplay ^^"

good use of the theme and the music is lovely!

problem i had is that when ever a flying saucer spawns it instantly hurts you upon spawning. random spawn locotions would go a long way with what you got. and there is no reason not to keep shining your light.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you ! :)

Yes I had trouble with the spawner system which didn't worked as expected, the opponents shoud have appear on each side of the map, so the character wouldn't be hurt like this, but I didn't have anymore time on my side to repair it.

And same reason, for the light to shine, I had the idea to put a system gauge, like an energy bar for it, where It gets empty when use it, and you would have to kill an opponent who will drop a refill for the light. So it will give appeal to kill opponent and to manage the flashlight.

It is my second game jam, I learnt that time management is very important, I think that I put to much time in detail whereas I should have concentrated my forces on the core gameplay. So it is positive in any case, because I learnt something like this. :)
