Did you work in a team?
Excluding the music which was made by my brother it was a solo project.

Was the resolution a challenge?
At first yes, but once I decided on a graphic style it was ok.

What did you learn?
It gave me the opportunity to try out and improve my State Machine library I had been building

nice game :) godd idea and smart implementation - it's just a sin to have only three leveles :-)

I know... I got stuck on my guard AI state machine a bit too long and didn't quite leave enough time to actually create content. Thanks for playing

Nice! Good mix of gameplay, minimal but really fitting graphics and good audio. As others have said, would be really good to see this developed further. There was a nice puzzle feel to it - particularly the first 2 levels where the limited space made you think about your path. The 3rd level seemed easier despite being bigger as there were more areas to hide.

Very cool, like a mini MGS. Would love to see this expanded upon. Please check ours out too: https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam-2020/rate/732044

I agree with the others - this game is great. I really hope it gets further development.

Love the MGS style game play... this could be expanded to be really great.

Very cool. I love MGS style espionage gameplay.

Very solid game over all. Mechanics are pretty strait forward. That said, I kinda wish there was a sprint button. Not really needed in this little game, but I just had an overwhelming urge to “press sprint” when I was spotted!

One other observation… as the enemies had a light cone, I assumed they couldn’t see beyond the light cone, but in the third level, I saw they could see across the map, regardless of the cone length. If the enemy was a little faster or dangerous in some other way, this might have been unfair… at least, in my humble opinion.

Right I was worried about that too... I wanted them to have "realistic" view mechanics, i.e. seeing you across the screen (not only inside a limited view cone) at least as long as you are about a screen away.... But at the same time wanted the player to give an idea of their field of view.... The cone being shorter than the actual viewable area is indeed confusing.....

Enemy AI was good and exciting enough for me.  This reminds me of Robbery Bob and my own games.  -oneak

I just love the mechanics of hiding from a cone of sight, it's so much fun! I also had fun being caught and sprinting to the exit. Music is fine and graphics do their job! Keep on this project, if you will, and it will pay off :)

Two of my favourite games combined (Metal Gear Solid and Commandos). Would love to play more! Please keep developing it (at any resolution).

Alittle shoddy on the line of sight/visibility but overall a decent experience!
