Fun game! I included it in my LOWREZJAM compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I really enjoyed this game. It really stands behind it's claim to be a tiny rogue-like and does so much with little effort.  I have some suggestions on how to make it a more re-playable rogue-like. The game could be faster because you know that you'd have to go through everything again when you die. There could be more variation to stuff like upgrades and some equipments ( I liked the rings )s o that when you die what you've lost is more precious to you. Also there can be a random (chance) mini-boss or smth in the succession of 8 enemies to make the progression more interesting and riskier

Hey thanks for that extensive feedback! I'll make the game faster in the next update. I definitely want to add more content and variation in encounters and equipment eventually. :)

Excellent sprite design! Very creative layout for size constraints, nicely done!

Not perfectly on the jam theme, some elements are not set on the 64*64 resolution (the link on the skill window)
The graphisms are simplist but cool, it would be a lot beeter if we can have a little background, that change between the windows and different quests.
I think there are a weird behaviour on the experience, the bar never fill and the next level is trigger a lot before it must have been.

Thanks for the comment. I actually didn't realise that the lines (or links) between the skills don't line up with the 64x64 resolution, but you're completely right! That was a mistake on my part. And I think you're right about that the experience bar bugs out sometimes. I will look into getting that fixed!

xDDDD Diablito (love the name). I missed music. But I need to say that functionality wise it is packed! Simple but fun. Liked it a lot.

Pretty good and simple rpg system.  I did hit that bug you mentioned on the page, I look forward to trying it again once fixed.  I definitely enjoyed the simplicity of the gameplay (not really a fan of complex rpg systems myself).

Thanks! I think your game Atomic Punch Man has been my favourite one of the ones I've tried this far.

Nice job distilling gameplay, skills, etc. to fit the small resolution. I would suggest a little easier first boss and easier item comparison.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the suggestions! They will be included in the next release this Sunday when the gamejam is over :)

I enjoyed quite a lot playing this game :-)

Maybe adding a map to let you choose the encounters would give a bit more engagement.

Developer

That's a nice idea, and something I might do in the future. Just need to figure out how to make the UI make sense within the limitation of 64x64 pixels :)

Nice job! The graphics are great.  Good job with the game loop too, I keep playing to get better loot.
