I liked how it started in a way that left the reader just as confused as the main character.  Everything builds up towards a conclusion, but you never really know if that was the right conclusion or not.  I personally would have liked a bit more hints at...well, everything, BUT it was still a fun read-through.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it, but yeah it's a tricky line to walk with how much to keep the player in the dark...

nice! I got the martyr ending. I really liked the way u delivered the story--kept up the suspense all the way till the end. I imagined the protag as an unwitting revolutionary, almost. Like we went out to get a donut for brekkie and became the leader of a revolution hehe

Thanks, that's exactly the feel I was going for!

I love the forward momentum created by the urgency to answer (either the cop or the inner voice) that kept me reading breathlessly !

One remark : while 90% of the choices are mine to make, sometimes I have to click on "the action of someone else", (eg when the cop punches you) and I found it a little weird.

Looking forward for your next games !

Developer

Thanks! That's a good point about the occasional break in voice to move forward though...

Packed with wit and kafkaesque!  I love it. Well written and made me root for the protagonist.

Thanks a lot!

THERE WAS A MOMENT WHERE I SHOULD HAD STOPPED AND I CLEARLY WENT PAST IT. SO LET'S KEEP GOING WITH THIS REVOLUTION AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

This is so witty and fun, I had a blast! And I will probably go back later to try and actually learn why was I locked up for...

Probably crossed the street recklessly or something. I am a rebel like that, apparently?

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it. You never can figure what you got arrested for, but it's probably something absurdly minor...

Really enjoyed playing this and leading the revolution. I think you captured this feeling of going with the flow, well. But also the fact that it does not really matter and people just hear what they want to hear.

But why did we get arrested? I need to know!

Developer

Thanks! Some questions are just meant to go unanswered though...

I'm gonna have to replay this a few times. I like how it just throws you out there.

Developer

Thanks!

Had quite a nice moment going through this story! What really works here imho is you’re forced to make decisions while you’re still trying to figure out what’s going on.
I tried a few different paths, but I’m curious if there’s a way to know why we were at the station in the first place.

Developer

Glad you liked it! I originally had more paths and endings in mind, but no matter what you choose, you'll never find out what you actually did.

Super well-written! I like the fake-out at the beginning with the internal monologue -- more of that would even be good! Very interesting being thrust into such important decisions with so little information. Overall, a really, really good take on this theme. I'm going to have to replay it a few times to get the full picture.

Thanks a lot for playing, and glad you enjoyed it! I think the internal monologue ended up being a victim of the tight deadline, I originally planned to have it show up more often, maybe even with its own dedicated branch.
