Very nice game! Is it inspired by anything? Make sure to check out my game as well :D

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! Our main inspirations were the jam's themes and bullet-hell games in general.

A solid arcade game!

Loving the way you change the shape when you get damage!

Good Job!

Developer

We're glad you enjoyed it!

Great concept and amazing execution, really fun to play, managed to get 1170 on hard but probably will come back to try to beat it later.
Only feedback i could think of, and is getting nitpicky, but the speed powerup could feel better, it felt a bit as a trap grabing it some times hahah. grats on a great game

Developer

That's an awesome score! Yes, the speed power-up can definitely use some balancing, especially during the later part of the level. We'll need to figure out a way to fix it!

I love how the damage system works - it's brilliant that the more you get damaged the less you can hurt the enemies and you become smaller and smaller, and also fits the theme perfectly! Good job on this entry!

Developer

Thank you, we're glad you liked the damage system!

Rather interesting concept! Now do it for rgb and hsv. Well Done!

Thank you! We'll consider adding alternate color schemes in the future!

Oh wow! This is one of most successful and creative implementations of the main and the optional theme! And I can't believe we both approached to it with a similar concept using vertices, you should definitely check our game too btw.

I think your game was pretty intuitive and easy to understand after a couple tries, you didn't even have to explain the mechanics in the game page so detailed. Game design was well made and it was super fun to play. I only tried playing it in Hard mode and thought the difficulty was very fair and enjoyable. I also liked how you added the power ups and the recovery mechanics.

It was a difficult task to put geometric shapes and "3... 2.. 1." theme together in a meaningful way and reflect it to the game mechanics. You guys nailed it! Totally deserves high scores for gameplay, creativity and theme!

I've read in one of your replies that you guys are new to the game jams, I hope you keep attending to game jams and learn to push your limits further each time!

Overall my opinion is that the game could feel so much better with a little polishing but I know how hard it is to spare time for that. Keep up the good work!

Oh here's my highest score on Hard!

Developer

Wow, thank you so much for the awesome feedback! I was actually playing your game yesterday but didn't want to leave a review until I survived for 3 minutes. I'll go back to that now!

Now this is good stuff, It's more engaging then I thought it would be enough to get me to a high score of 630 on medium and 390 on Hard. All the power ups are useful the music fits in nicely, the hit point system ties in nicely into the theme of the jam and honestly with simple the idea is I will admit it was pretty creative!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Those are some pretty good high scores!

difficult to play if you aren't in Qwerty, but still a good idea

Developer

I didn't consider this issue during development. We'll try to include more keyboard layouts in a future update!

135 score, I am a god!! Its fun, and I like the idea of just breaking into parts til you die. Just needs a bit more sound effects

Developer

Glad you had fun! We didn't have time for too much sound design, but we'll consider adding some sound effects in with a future update.

Nice entry and intresting concept, well done :)

84 on easy! Proud of myself haha. Also gotta love the speed-up pickup. Very creative idea and loved the game. Also props to having different difficulties. Only thing is maybe adding a sound/ music while you have the invincibility on because i tend to mostly focus on the circles when they get faster. That would make it easier to know whether you have it on or off.

Developer

We're glad you enjoyed the game! We originally planned on adding more sound design, but unfortunately didn't get around to implementing it because of time constraints.

Interesting game.. I believe you've set the scope a bit too big for such short game jam, trying to do too many things which has resulted in a full page of instructions. I would also like to see the player being introduced to the different mechanics while playing the game..

Kudos for the effort & good luck👍

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! We're all still pretty new to game jams, so proper scoping is still a bit of a challenge for us. We'll keep it in mind for our next jam!
