Very creative entry! And the art is very nice!

Submitted(+1)

Great entry. The art is pretty. The goblin design is so fun. Can’t put my finger on it but there’s something not quite right with pacing of the little green creatures.

Developer(+1)

Really didn't have enough time to truly fix their speed to match the animation unfortunately, so they came out a bit skatey!

Submitted(+1)

The art was pretty good, my only "complaints" are that the movement felt a bit floaty and the animations were a bit broken, but I think it was a pretty cool game.

Developer

Yeah the pickup animation bug started about 2 hours before deadline and I just decided you know what :p

Nice little game, I like the idea of the controlling the hordes of goblins, the waymarkers I'm not sure if I was using them incorrectly or not but the goblins wouldn't go past the first one if I had multiples out? I was also able to leave the bounds of the play area so i did explore a little bit on my playthrough haha

Developer

Yeah the intention was the gobbos will follow the closet shiny point, that first waypoint!

Submitted(+1)

Fun game and cool art :)

Goblins could be little bit faster and clicking could be maybe on grid based system. I liked the music and artwork, especially mouse cursor animation. Good job!

Hey
This is a nice game. I can see from other comments that people were having problems on Web version but so far I haven't had any issues and I am also using firefox. Maybe the processing power?

The waypoint system was nice change on the click and go system, but I struggled to figure out the range of the player. At one point I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't create a waypoint where I was clicking and it was because of where my player was standing. So if you develop this further, maybe you need a way to indicate this.

Good luck!

If I have to guess it'll be memory

The whole goblin sprite sheet resource is MASSIVE

The web version didn't quite work for me, so I gave it a download and it seemed like it all worked well! I thought it was fun, I liked the idea of controlling a horde of goblins indirectly with the waypoints. Smooth implementation, nice graphics, great music, all makes for a fantastic submission! Nice work!

Developer

As far as I can tell yes it's web specific and appears to be a source texture size issue with Firefox

If you are the 2bd person it's happening to in hoping you can confirm that for me!

Hello, I have the same black rectangle 'bug' on firefox. Firefox console indicates the error below, which may be relevant.

WARNING: 2D MSAA is not yet supported for GLES3.

And also the following warning, which may indeed be linked with your texture size

WebGL warning: texImage: Requested size at this level is unsupported.

Developer

Yeah it's definitely the size!

And I'm guessing it's memory cap issue and or resolution

Alright thankyou!

Will make sure we will keep in mind for next time

Nice job! I really like the idea of the waypoints. I'm not sure if this was intended, but I was able to float the player character outside of the level area at the bottom of each level where the floor touches the black background.

Developer

Doh

Apparently we completely missed that one!

Is the black rectangle thing just on the web version? I really wanted to play and rate this but I can't quite understand what is happening without the proper sprites.

Yo i turned the volume ALL THE WAY UP Nice music!! There's some room for improvement here on the controls and the mechanics. but still good job!

Submitted(+1)

I like it, the art style is very good, sounds too, good job !

Once I got the hang of the waypoints, my little gang of green librarians became an unstoppable force for tidiness! Great little game, I think all the art, sound and music worked well together to make a really charming vibe. A library run by goblins would be chaotic for sure. Very nice submission, loved everything about the game except those fire slugs! Screw those guys, you killed my staff!

Submitted(+1)

At first was a bit confusing to play but i think it fits with the jam theme, goblins make chaos everywhere hahah

Submitted(+1)

Super fun concept. I had a great time trying to manage my tiny horde.

Submitted(+1)

Neat concept. The goblins are cute.

The goblins are only showing as black squares for me! Web version, running on Firefox on Linux.

Developer

Drat

I know it's a texture max size issue, wether PX or byte size I don't know yet

Submitted(+1)

I like the animation of the goblin , it's harder than i initialy though to manage these, it was fine at first, .... only at first XD
