I feel a bit split. On the one hand, I had fun. On the other, not being able to cancel my action made me rage xD I try my best to beat every game that I try during the voting period. Just incase there is some sort of easter egg or tiny little ending sequence etc. But, that's not happening lol. I don't think it's poor design at all, it's just not my style of risk/reward ya know?
I still think the game was visually gorgeous, and that you nailed the theme really well. The mechanics were great and I feel that you guys did an all around amazing job. One of my highest ratings given this Jam even. ^^

Thanks, we're glad you had fun! We didn't want to make anyone furious on this lil' game, but there wasn't any ending section, so it's small loss. We didn't have much time left, even level design was made in a hurry, we're glad that we at least submitted something at all xD But we'll rethink some design decisions and prepare fixed version, thanks for letting us know what possibly went wrong.
I made this game with brother, who don't have an itch.io account nor GWJ discord, but thanks for reminding!
Is it a reference to famous Polish stuntman Paweł Jumper? xD
Nice game btw :P
A really clever concept! At first, I thought I wanted to be able to cancel jumps, but then I realized I kinda like the despair of realizing you've doomed poor Pablo. What I want instead is more lives and checkpoints, so you don't have to go back to the beginning when you keep failing.
SFX was great, I liked the ambience, but I wish there was some music.
The art and audio are excellent. The controls and mechanics work well, but it's really frustrating that you can't cancel the jump, but I think that was the point to make it hard, so it's well executed. Good gob.
Absolutely loved the graphics and the sound design. At first I didn't understand the mechanics and got really frustrated. Took me a few minutes to figure it out. I still found it really challenging, especially since you can't cancel actions after you've started. That would have been nice.
There were a couple of freezes that caused Pablo fall to his death, poor thing. And one last thing, the moving platform didn't seem to move Pablo. Is that by design? Or did I stumble upon a bug?
Thanks for playing! We didn't want to make the game too frustrating, mea culpa, but we'll fix the issues after the jam. I also encountered the platform bug , but only once, and I still don't know what caused it as I can't replicate it anymore. I'll test it more and fill an issue on Godot's github, because it seems like it happens randomly.
I love the graphics and concept.
It is an interesting feeling having started your jump and being unable to cancel it. You just sit there holding spacebar watching it get worse and worse until you just have to accept that you’re jumping off into nothing. Poor Pablo.
I really wanted to beat it, but couldn’t, and got tired of starting over. It would be nice lives were unlimited, although that would certainly remove a lot of the challenge.
All around great game! The graphics, controls, and audio are all very well made. I wish I could have explore more levels but I kept dying :) The level design was consistent yet unique, and I really enjoyed it.
I love how simple this is. The sound effects were really well done and the timing made me laugh. The art is adorable too!
Had to laugh out loud a few times, when I crashed to robot because I missed the right point to release the jump button.
The puzzles often seem easier than they really are.
It's a pity that you have to start from the beginning when you loose all lifes.
But all in all a really fun experience with a gameplay that is dead simple to learn. Well done!!!
i really liked! first time i smashed the poor thing lol. great fun, hope you keep updating the game :D
