neat game :) I agree with some of the comments that I had a tricky time learning to calibrate my eggy-aim, but after looking at the leaderboard I  know who ask for slingshot lessons :)  I had fun trying my best but I didn't rescue many eggs.

Thank you for the super useful feedback and thanks so much for playing! :)

Addictive little ame. Like the pop art style graphics and audio.  Though the control is a bit issue for me.
Overall a big thumbs up.

Thank you for playing our game! :)

Very charming game. The story and artwork add a lot to the simple mechanic. Smashing the poor eggies against the wall was a funny and cruel contrast to the cutesy style. The voice over gave it a high value feeling.

I think the gameplay could have been refined a bit more. It's tough to predict how the eggs will fly and quite easy to shot by accident when skipping the load animation. The music felt a bit odd to my ears but that's personal preference.

Thank you for playing and commenting, Dalton! Really appreciate it! I'm happy you picked up on what we were going for... a touch of dark humor with the cute eggies :D...

Good point about the slingshot - for predicting aim,  some other people suggested adding a shadow for the egg.  I also wondered if we could alter the background and size of sprites to create an illusion of depth.

Thanks again for playing!

Very cute and fun game. The voice work definitely amplified the cuteness, too. It took a few tries for me to get the hang of the slingshot but once I did I had a lot of fun with it. Nice job!

I like this game! And I keep playing it to try and get better! I think the art is cute and I liked the voice over at the beginning. I think one thing that would benefit the game is if the eggs casted a shadow on the wall. The game is 2D and it's really hard to tell when the egg is going to land, I can never intuit how small the egg is going to be before it smacks the wall. If there was a shadow that got smaller, and as soon as it disappeared the egg cracked, that would make it a lot easier to tell. Good job!

Shadow is a great idea :) Since this is all 2D will have to think on how to implement. I'm glad you enjoyed! Keep playing and let's get some variety on the leaderboard  :D

Cool game liked the art and sounds but the slingshot was a bit hard to use at the beginning.

I love the voiceover! Really fun and challenging game. Took me a couple games to get the hang of the slingshot (That's a lie. I'm still bad). I agree with the previous comment on slingshot room at the bottom. Full-screening fixes the issue of going past the game window in browser, but it still feels like I need more room to manage the slingshot.

It does take practice! Yes the slingshot does need some tweaking, agree with trying it a but higher up. Thanks for playing!

Nice job, the artwork looks great.

And so far I haven't found any other game in the jam with a voiceover :)

Fun to play, if  a little challenging.

Great game!

This is really well made! Love the voice over and the egg sfx XD. I had a really hard time figuring out that there was depth involved in the slinging.

I thought it was only 2d and expected to get targets as the eggs moved over them vs when the eggs hit the wall. If I could see the floor and the egg's shadow I'd probably have a better tell for how to shoot, or I just need to get good.

Will give it another shot soon cause people be getting good at this game quick! X'D

Thanks for the feedback :) yes depth can be hard to simulate in 2D - shadow is a great idea, will have to think on how to give a RigidBody2D a convincing shadow in pseudo3D.

We'd love to see you get on the leaderboard!

Fun game!  I kind of wish there is a bit more room behind the slingshot so I can put it all the way back without going out of the game screen(which interrupts the browser version of the game).  I keep expecting the egg to shoot at the same angle that I am pulling the slingshot, but the eggs never quite lands where I think they are going to.  None of my egg seem to made it pass top half of the wall,  So maybe I am doing something wrong. Judging on some of high score on the leaderboard, I probably just need more practice. I'll come back to this one later. :)

Thanks for the feedback! Our timing was off and we did literally no testing so we didn't get a chance to test these little things. I agree the slingshot should be placed a little higher. Full screen works much better in using the slingshot - something we should maybe encourage.

Yes please do come back to it! Would love for someone to knock Willow off his perch :D

I can totally relate to not having time to test anything, that describes the majority of our experience with game jams so far.  :P

Thanks for the tip on using the full screen, it is a lot better. But I'm afraid I'm no Willow. lol
