Fun little game! I think its very funny that you need to get rid of the annoying admirers :D The controls are tight although I would have like if that I could just keep jumping without moving if I want to. You could only jump if you rotated at least a little bit.

The Lilypads floating around randomly and the nice music are giving a nice vibe to the game. I had some fun playing it haha - Good job and keep going :)

Nice job! The controls felt snappy so I went all the way to 10 admirers and 200+ flies (on a laptop trackpad no less!). This was a lot of fun to play. I though it was an interesting twist to "lose" by getting too much love, but there's part of me that wanted that to be a win condition of some kind. the rainbow colors on the frogs was neat. I had fun playing. Thanks for sharing this little game!

Obviously, this would work perfectly as a mobile game! And I think that’s what you had in mind ;)

Cool game, maybe a bit too easy since your frog will always find the nearest lily pad, even if you jump directly in the water?

Congrats for your entry!

Interesting game. The jumping mechanic was very fitting for a frog but if your mouse leaves the game window the game gets confused and you'll have to charge the jump again, but other than that the jump is very polished, it's snappy and feels good to leap huge distances while gobbling up huge amounts of dragonflies. Having the frog swim back to a lily pad while eating any dragonflies on the way is feels okay too, but I feel like jumping around was the only thing you had going on, maybe a score system and a leaderboard would fit the game really well? But yeah, this is a game jam and no game will truly feel finished in just one month. Good job!

Fun game, felt a bit awkward on desktop but then I saw the point about suggesting mouse or touchscreen, so that’s nice it supports that (and definitely was more intuitive with a mouse). Wasn’t sure if at some point I’d unlock something or if there’s was a goal to reach, did get a little repetitive after a bit, but certainly challenge increased as more ‘admirers’ showed up. Would have very nicely fit the them if the frogs somehow transformed, unless I just missed getting to that point!

A pleasant game.. got a little monotonous after a bit, took me a minute to figure out where to touch the screen to get the frog jumping right. After that, went smooth. I like the colors of the frog and the effects applied to hitting the open water. nice game!

Got a little bit confused at first but then i realized you can launch into water and the frog wil self adjust, interesting launch mechanic tho ^^

Great game, I loved eating those dragons. Somehow I felt like the controls( A and D) were swapped around. Though I may say overall game play was a great experience.

Nice game. The movement is very fun.
I was confused at first why having admirers is a bad thing, and why I should flee from them. I was also a bit disappointed by the game over screen. Would have loved for a little "You managed to catch X dragon flies!" or "You survived for X seconds!" instead of just "You lost".

Other than that I really enjoyed having few runs at this game, it's relaxing, and after a while you see how the theme fits in with the momentum of the lily pads.

Lovely game, quite fun, love that the frog swims back to the closest pad.
