Great music choice and pixel art! The game is fun and I like that you grow the trees and then you have to protect them. It can get quite chaotic after a while, but the game is still fun! Good job!

Good job with this! It would have been neat if you could grow different types of plants so that instead of just a buff maybe you could grow a plant that can damage the enemies on its own or be more defensive, etc. I had a fun play through though and I felt like I lasted a decent amount of time. It did seem that the difficulty ramped up very quickly towards the end because as the enemies were getting stronger (I think they were as time went on) I was also loosing more buff plants so I was also getting weaker, but I had fun with it! Nice game!

Yes, at first my plan was to have different plant types (and different buffs!) but I ran out of time quickly! The difficulty is quite high because I balanced it only the last 4-5 hours of the last day XD

Cool take on the theme! The music was great and really set the scene. The artwork wsa also wonderful and really gave me a sense of the type of environment I was in! The concept for the gameplay is something I haven't seen in this jam, yet! I did my entire first life forgetting that I could shoot so I went around planting trees and then got nervous when I ran out of saplings. And then I tried again and realized that I could shoot the enemies! Definitely appropriately difficult which was half the fun! Everything else was the atmosphere that you were able to create! Great Job!

I like that for using different assets, you managed to keep the visual theme pretty consistent. I hate having to find different assets that mesh well together, so definitely props to that. I was a little confused as to whether or not it was a tower-defense type game initially. I went it feeling like it would be. Enemies were a little hard and I'll admit I never beat the first level.

Thanks, I tried to choose the assets to give a consistent look. My idea was to make a hybrid between a tower-defense and a musou.

Eheh thanks! I spent a lot of time for the monsters AI and I simplified it a lot in the last hours of the final day!
