Great Art!! Intuitive gameplay with a clear goal in mind! I had fun growing my plants and it was nice to feel the nostalgia of back in the day when I did a science fair project with the plant growing towards the only light source in a dark space! I enjoyed this a lot!!!
good game , i like the art , i think you to put a hard level
This was fun game with pleasing graphics. Good job.
Nice game! I like the concept! I think it could have been a bit smoother if the forward movement was controlled by the player rather than a timer, there were a few times where the plant didn't quite do what I wanted. All in all though it was a nice game! I had fun on my playthrough!
I loved the artwork and the concept is great! It was fun having to try out different routes and seeing if there were other solutions to some of the later puzzles! Definitely kept me engaged and wanting to be able to really get to know each level! Well done!
Loved it, really cool concept of gameplay and visuals :D
Very well made level design and great art style. It could also work if player was able to grow the plant in a selected direction when they want instead of a timer.
enjoyed its simple complexity, well done
Simple idea executed very well. Had lots of fun with this one!
Nicely done! Simple and fun, looks good, plays well.
Very cool game ! the art is nice and the concept is very interesting, with inspiration from snake. I also found the gameplay very intuitive
Enjoyed this a lot. Great balance.
Nice idea for a fast paced puzzle game (or as fast paced as puzzles can be).
My critique would be mostly on the level design, although I don't know how you could solve it. Since the plant grows by itself and growth spurts are limited, your first try on the level is a guessing game until you learn the layout.
That is what keeps the players engaged :)
Levels 1-3 are intuitive:
- level 1 - cannot mistake the solution. Teaches you the core game.
- level 2 - showcases water. Teaches you that you cannot get far enough and you cannot solve it without the water bottle. It is not hard to tell that there is a new element and you would probably need it to finish the level.
- level 3 - the solution is pretty much guided through the water bottles visually.
- level 4 - camera changes, element of surprise. There is only one major junction that has 2/3 correct solutions. As long as you don't go down directly. Also teaches you that you cannot cross your plant later.
- level 5 - Is a maze. Quite frankly it is meant to be more confusing but also has 2 correct solutions which are not that hard to guess. Going right will lead you to a straight path up which you will continue to the left because by the time you reach the water bottle you will only have lives to reach the left one and close off the upper path. Going left you will only have lives to take the water bottle which leads you right and the only close one is the one on top which will also lead you to a window.
