Your pixel art is so gorgeous! I really like how you managed with a limited amount of colors.

It's a great take on the sokoban style and the heat mechanic was very interesting.

Good work!

Developer

Thank you so much gnomik! Glad you enjoyed it! I hope to expand on the heat mechanic in the future, heat me up if you have any more ideas!

Nice puzzle game, was much better than regular sokoban clones and the dialogues and heat mechanic kept it fresh despite the familiarity :)

Sweet! Mission accomplished then khalynin!
Glad to hear that, hopefully I can improve more on it in the future!

Exellent Game! The story gets you to want to know more, and gives a reason to play through the puzzles. Very polished, good mechanichs, and wolf/foxes in a box! the only thing is that while keeping the boxes moving in a grid, i would trigger the move on the first contact

Developer

Thank you Valentino_Collazo! You gave valuable feedback and offered ways for me to improve!
I am still adamant regarding the pushing mechanic, as I want the player to be forced to push each time and feel the effort of their actions. It also helps on preventing accidental pushes in later puzzles I find.

Thanks again!

Nice pixel art, especially the characters!

Thank you Jetpackgone! I love your cute hamsters and the design of the bowls and wheels!

Could it be...cake? Very fun game! I enjoyed how smoothly it ran and the way we had a little story as we played! Nice! 💞

haha thanks Mama Makes Games!
Tried to have some balance between the story and gameplay. Implementing Dialogic was such a liberating choice!

Such a charismatic character is Pistachio

Here is a collectible you've unlocked XD

very cool art and nice mechanics. i would expect to push the boxes when i'm already moving towards it tho

Developer

Thanks true!

That was something I was debating to be honest, but found the grid system much simpler to communicate through gameplay and keeping true to the original sokoban puzzles. I also find after a few tries you get the sense of the mechanic, tapping the arrow key when pushing, that also gives the player the sense of action and effort of pushing.

well, that's true, i guess i wasn't looking at it that way

Cool puzzle adventure ( no pun intended :p )

Your artstyle is really nice, and i like the limited palette choice, the music also felt quite fitting with the cold theme of the environement.

The wolf "soul projection" when you take a nap on the warm pads is a fun mechanic also :D
and i like how you explain the controls within the game for the restart and sleep actions.

If i had to nitpick i'd say the main issue i encountered is that sometimes the character gets a bit stuck while trying to fit through a 1 block large space, but other than that i didn't have any problem.

Good job :)

Hey pixelmetalwolf! Nice to see you again!
Glad you enjoyed the game and the choices I made! I hope to release a devlog soon, I'll let you know if that happens.

Thanks for pointing that out! It would have been an easy fix that wouldn't annoy players if I just changed the collision shape to a circle instead of a square as it is now... I'll fix it, thanks!

No problem Spoonsweet, always nice to come across devs from past jams and see the latest game :)

Yeah it wasn't a huge issue tbh, but nice that you already thought of a fix, i'll check my feed post jam (which i should do more often cause i miss a lot of stuff O_o )

hey Sander!

Thank you so much for dropping by!

Still experimenting with them, really happy with the icy ravines that break. Added a sense of doom I think.
