This was a great entry! I love the cute music paired with that bright, low-poly arstyle a lot. The concept was good fun, this is definitely something that could develop into a bigger game I'd play.

Happy that you liked it! :)

One of the most fun games I've played in this jam. Reminds me a lot of SteamWorld Dig. The resources were a bit confusing at first as I thought I couldn't pick them up yet when they nudged when interacting with them. In my opinion some underground layers had too similar contrast and the sun was a bit too bright. The physical cogwheel was a nice touch. Cool visuals, nice UI design and fun gameplay. Awesome game.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I might have to play around with some values of the light and the environment, specific the glow. Anyways, I'm happy to hear you like the game

I loved the incredibly goofy art. very unique. i love the super clean low poly and colorful style. the controls were unique and felt nice in their own way. gameplay experience would be a bit nicer if the recharge upon getting to the surface was much quicker. it was very fun though!

Thank you for playing and for your constructive feedback. Yes, thinking about it, it would help to charge the energy faster when on the surface to avoid unnecessary wait time in the gameplay. Luckily this is as easy as rearanging an if-else statement ;)

I found the art really good. The idea of gameplay too!

I just think it could have more context for us to undestand exactly what we are doing, and the movment of the character could be a bit more stagble, so it wont keep spining.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I actually left the player quite in the dark about the goal of the game and the gameplay. But at least I will try to leave a better explanation in the description. Preventing the player character from spinning around like that might be as easy as just increasing the angular_damp on the rigidbody. I should add that, he really spinns around a little too much. thx ;)

wonderful art! the gameplay is fun but i think it needs more feedback, why my energy starts ending when i fire the first pedestal?

it's very fun and i loved the mix of 3d and 2d, the musics are great too.

Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you liked it. I will try to give a somehow more helpful guidelines to the game. To follow up on your question, your energy starts to wane when you go underground. To recharge the energy you have to go back up to the sun again. But thats not the only way to rechange the Energy. You need at least a quarter of your energy left to light a torch. That's going to take a little bit of your energy away. But the newly lit torch is then a kind of checkpoint. You can then just stay near the torch and the energy will recharge. That way you don't have to keep going back to the surface to recharge. I hope that was somehow helpfully expressed. And thanks for playing :)

Great Artistic vision! Could be an excellent game for my daughters in this theme. But it could be a little easier to control giving the artistic choices.

Thanks for the experience!

I love the visuals and the Music, really cute.

But the air drift from the player is a little bit to slow in my opinion, it's a little bit exhausting to control it over a long time.

The theme is good implemented!

Developer

Yeah right, everyone I've asked about the control kind of told me the same thing, but I've been too stubborn to change it. But anyways, thanks for your feedback :)
