It's like you took Icy Tower and made it cooler. Super creative and we loved the learning curve of figuring out what each side of the die does! Had a great time! 5/5
Nice idea, but the platforms offer too little variety. A sidescroller might work better for this or different materials along the way.
I agree, I originally wanted to have the platforms vary in length/ angle. Not sure how far you got into the game, but eventually the platforms spawn with a color and if you land on a platform that matches your color you get a point bonus. We also wanted to add hazards that would appear but ran out of time. Thanks for the feedback!
Instantly fun and playable, loved that the music changes with the different characters!
Thanks! I was really glad to be able to get that working
The different movement is so fun!
Yay! We're glad each jump is unique enough : D
That one is right on my alley. I like it a lot. Feeling of the game and simplicity make it very appealing to me. Great job. One thing I think maybe it's gonna be useful is the camera to follow the player it will give so much flow to the game play and became more addictive. Great job.
Agreed. The way it currently works is the camera is completely static and it's the platforms that are moving, but in the future having it scroll upwards quickly if you're near the top of the screen would make the early game much quicker.
v cute game. the fact that the music changes to fit the current dice is ingenius, and makes the game feel really polished. great job!!
Thanks! That was a touch we weren't sure we'd have time for, but it actually proved to be simple!
Like this a lot, movement feels a little too wonky for me but otherwise this is a solid entry!
Thank you! Is it the fact that the movement changes so frequently or something else?
I'd say it's because of the large differences in weight/speed the dice. So for example the blue and green dice both feel really heavy and kind of slow, while the other ones send you flying without much warning or buildup
Awesome animations and nice simple gameplay loop
Thanks! We wanted to keep it manageable lol
Nice job! Very original!
Thank you!
I love the personality given to each character. The art and particle effects are pretty solid. Well done
Thanks! It's amazing what you can do with some pitched up voices and basic circle particles!
Original idea that keeps you willing to play. It has a couple bugs, but that is to be expected from a 2-Day game. Very well made!
Thank you! We'd love to iron it out once the Jam is done and release a simple but properly cleaned up version
Game feels great! Wasn't expecting it to get to such a level of depth part of the way through. Well done!
Thank you! We tried to make sure each jump had enough unique properties to make for interesting choices. In the future we'd like to perhaps add in some obstacles or special platforms to further add depth.
i use my tears to levitate irl
as any good game developer should!
Fun Game, Love the art, and the idea is just funky enough to keep you on your toes
Thank you! Aren't the little guys so cute???
Loved the dynamic music - great idea and well executed!
Thanks! Really glad to see the music be so well received, it turned out better than we hoped!
I LOOOOVE the dynamic music and artstyle, at first the game is slightly difficult because you dont know what each dice does but i caught on very quickly and had a lot of fun with it!! my best score is 42 :)
So glad you enjoyed it!
I like the way the music changes when the dice is rolled. Very nice details.
Thanks! That turned out to be surprisingly easy to implement, thankfully!
really on spot with the presentation! congrats
Thank you!
Enjoyed playing this. Music and background changes are good. Increasing speed also makes the late game more interesting. Also I saw a minor bug where the dice color wouldn't change at all.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah there are unfortunately a few bugs - happens every game jam haha
Fun and polished game. Has a lot of pontential for a mobile game.
Yeah I agree, I thought about porting it to mobile but we ran out of time haha
