How does your game fit the theme?
Theme fits quite decently to the game. There isn't much but the dice dictate where the player has to drive.

Fun experience, the controls are a battle to learn yet an entertaining battle nonetheless. I do wish it was more clear where you were able to drive through, it would help encourage one to try driving faster. I liked the gear switching!
I liked the driving part, forcing you to use different gears, especially the back gear instead of pressing S, grinded my gears. :D
It is kind of inconsistent through which gray areas you can drive and through which you can't, which was my biggest issue with this game. I also think that choosing a random factory to go from and to isn't really close to the theme.
I did really enjoy the presentation, with the little particles and such.
Thank you for playing!

Music was really good, fits a driving game well. I loved the fact you had different gears/it wasn't an automatic car, although the hitboxes were a bit janky when it came with colliding with things like buildings or trees. Overall good game.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the music
It was fun to play. Getting random places where to drive was a nice idea. Sometimes I got stuck on grass or something, I guess its very important to try to stay on the road.
My intention was to keep players on road, but the barriers are quite unclear to the player. Thank you for playing!
It's a bit difficult to tell what I can collide with, therefore I run into colliders randomly. The shifting gear doesn't seem to be your common gear system in car games - they don't really work how gears should work (gear 1 gives best acceleration but poor top speed, and the more the gear increases, the less acceleration and the more top speed). The restriction to switching to Reverse gear is also a hassle. The "roll of the dice" element isn't really clear to me, all I see is a random number generator that rolls the dice value which doesn't have any effect to anything. However, I can see potential for this game outside of the game jam theme if you refine it more.
Thank you for playing! I should've honed the gear mechanics a little more. I'll add these tips in mind when making next game.
I like the gameplay a lot, and the time restriction of travelling from one place to another makes it very tense and suspenseful! My only issue that I had was I found it difficult to determine where I could and couldn't drive. I was able to fully drive over houses, but not grass? Nitpicking aside, I think this was a very fun cute little game.
Thanks a lot!
I think art-wise you could've restricted your palette a bit more. Some assets have a lot of very similar shades which could've been simplified to a smaller palette. I think you could also look into pillow shading and study how to avoid it.
I appreciate that you have a uniform pixel scale in the game world, all assets blend well and the art style is cohesive.
You have a mechanic where you can shift gears, but as of now, it seems like there is no drawback to going at max gear all the time. A way you could've made the shifting mechanic more engaging is that you could've added a trade-off to the higher speeds in the higher gear by making higher gears turn slower. This would force players to weigh in pros and cons and constantly shift up and down to optimize their driving. Go fast in straight lines and shift down to turn in corners and back again.
The Dice mechanic is not much more than a UI replacement for random numbers, the theme could've been more deeply ingrained into the game design.
There doesn't seem to be much of a difficulty ramp up. I would tweak things so each delivery would require faster and faster deliveries until players eventually fail and then prompt the player with their high score before ending the game!
Thank you, this is valuable feedback!
I like the driving! I wish the reverse gear was just built into the "s" key, but its good!
Great UI, great sound design. Great rekkapeli.
Creative use of the theme! Driving is a bit clunky but fun once you get the hang of it.
I like the challenging controls for driving. That said, I would not have passed my driving exam in this game. While I also like games that employ world exploration, I think it would be nice to have a mini-map of the area or some other navi-system considering the time pressure for deliveries. :)
Overall a neat and oddly soothing game!
the difficult controls were pretty fun to learn, but it did feel pretty frustrating getting stuck on something, especially becuase there were a lot of invisible walls, and the UI for the gears and showing you what place you needed to deliver to was blocking the screen a lot, but other than that the game was pretty fun.
Thanks! I also noticed that the UI is quite large especially when the game is not fullscreen. There might be game resolution related problems in the UI. I'll take the UI design in mind next time.
difficult to control in a fun way. invites a test-your-luck style gameplay. doesn't evoke "roll of the dice particularly, but I still had fun.
I would reaaally like to bind the controls differently, maybe gear up/down on arrow keys or mouse wheel (something I can do with my right hand?), and I would bind throttle to spacebar. Inputting these unusual controls on one hand is hard in ways that I don't plays into what's fun about the game.
Thank you for feedback. Next time I'll make control button positions to easier places.
Good game!
Love the art and its cool it was all made by you! Not sure if it was a bug but there were some invisible walls that could use some markers. The driving was really fun and well made though!

The invisible barriers were made to keep player on roads. But now that you mention it, I should have done the barriers more clear.
Great art! I appreciate that it was all made by you, great gameplay too!
