Really cute game, I love the art style and the sound effects fit in perfectly. An interesting take on the them of the game jam and great job for making a great game in only 48hrs!

What a unique premise, very well executed. This has been the best execution of a 'loaded dice' premise that I've seen so far in the jam.
It was a great idea that there will always be one face one the die that you can't choose, it added a bit of tension when I was trying to trap them into those red spaces - I was never 100% sure that I'd be able to pull it off! I loved the risk/reward of waiting till just the right moment to screw em over!
As others have said, having to rage out all 3 felt like a more engaging way to play, as it forces you to risk more rolls to prevent other monsters from going on lucky streaks. Also, a skip button would definitely help liven the pace up.
I feel like there's some interesting places this could go, with the board game gaining new mechanics/rules each level and thus more opportunities to frustrate or accidentally envigorate the monsters. Speaking of the monsters, the art style and character designs were excellent! So much character jammed into this lil game, I especially loved the frantic tumbling animation of the dice.
Excellent work!
Thank you so much for the nice, honest and in-depth review of our game. This means a lot! it's such a nice feeling if people really take the time to think that deep into your game mechanics and the world that surrounds it. I feel this game can go places too honestly. Skip button will be implemented post jam and we might change the rage goal too. :)
Very interesting concept to be a bad guy and I enjoy it! Great work!
We saw some of your progress pics on the Discord. The artstyle and audio are just top notch!
Really funny and creative idea! I also liked your art style a lot. This game really makes you think on your feet!
I liked this a lot! I really loved making the characters mad and seeing their silly expressions. I do wish that there was a way to lower suspicion faster, but overall everything was great.
A really interesting idea, giving a die roll, but letting the player decide how to "cheat", but also having repercussions. Took me a while to figure out that the monsters I wanted to annoy were the pieces on the board and see their annoy-o-meters on the right, but once I got it I enjoyed strategizing how to make it work. Showing the meters on the tutorial screen might help make that a bit more clear.
Obviously, the art is fantastic as well.
Thank you so much! Yeah, the music has been created by @Earl Chives <3
Very well made, the art style is really nice, not to mention to core mechanics, which really bring the game to life.
the idea is super sweet and I love how you actually put effort into a small story too! the artstyle is super charming and tbh in this jam i was really refreshed to see a stylized 2D game! The monsters and the general design are super cool and the game is easy to play and understand. I really liked how intuitive it is which actions will piss off the monsters and at times u felt like an evil genuis if you let someone get ahead just to drop them into a trap up ahead. My only wish would have been for the suspicious-meter to go down a bit if i don't do anything over a few turns, so there would have been a reward for not fudging the dice too! Great job, I really liked it!
Thanks for all the praise ❤️
And regarding the suspicious-meter:
Oh yeah, we would have loved to balance that more! We also had other ideas like shorter time window to change the dice when the suspicious-meter is high or lowering suspicion when something good happens to the monsters ... but then the deadline hit 😅
Such a sweet game!!!! I think this is one of the most original ideas I've encountered. Talk about inception : a video game about a board game. MetaVerse here we come! I completely identify with Not-So-Nice-Dice, I have a guilty pleasure to enrage other people myself. Lovely esthetics, the game is consistent throughout, and the gameplay is deliciously malicious! Great work guys! Just a tiny remark: I am of the impatient kind, it would have been great if there would have been a button/way to just skip the turn instead of waiting.
I absolutely loved this game ! The concept is really fun, even if I didn't understand the whole rules of the board game at first. I also loved the art style and the music ! Well done guys ! 10/10!
This was so much fun to play! The art is especially lovely and fits well into the game.
Neat and well made little tabletop game and it also includes a nice introduction. Great job!
It is such a cozy game, everything is at the right place. Congrats :)
I loved the aesthetic and the demon-like creatures and the suspicious-meter. Glad to see such a cool tabletop game, as I had a similar idea at the beggining.
