Thanks ❤️

Thanks! Yeah, your critique is valid – we didn't have time to polish the tutorial more ☹️

Thank you ❤️

Thanks for the kind words :)
I think so too! In hindsight maybe more interactive gameplay and less number counting but it could be explored more.

Could you upload the 64-bit version?
The game looks awesome, but it doesn't start on Mac (nor on Linux using WINE).

Oh man, the atmosphere of this game is awesome!

Would have a lot of potential if it was expanded on. A shooter with some light detective elements.

Thanks for the praise!
The game was a submission for a 48(-ish) hour game jam, otherwise we would have loved to make it longer :)

Thanks for sharing your strategies! (Would be interesting to think of a system to combat this, maybe suspicion rises more quickly if a behaviour repeats)

Thanks and yes, totally agreed with the feedback :)

We are gonna do a few tweaks once we can submit a new version and this is definitely one of them!

(1 edit)

Thanks for the feedback! We wanted the game to feel a bit stressful until one gets used to it ... but unfortunately we didn't have more time to polish :(
One idea for example was that the timer at the beginning of a round is very generous (to make the start easier), but gets shorter as the round progresses :)

Thanks for all the praise ❤️

And regarding the suspicious-meter:
Oh yeah, we would have loved to balance that more! We also had other ideas like shorter time window to change the dice when the suspicious-meter is high or lowering suspicion when something good happens to the monsters ... but then the deadline hit 😅

Haha, that's why we chose the most simple game we could think of 😅

Thanks a lot!

Thank you very much for your praise and yes now that you mention it, a "skip" button would have been a smart idea 😂

Thanks for the kind words!

What exactly was your idea in the beginning?

❤️

Thanks a lot!

FYI: The introduction only barely made it into the game. We uploaded that version two minutes before the deadline 😅

Thank you very much for the kind words 😳

We also had a ton of fun making it.

Hi Angela, thanks for helping out!

Unfortunately I couldn't find the issue and don't have time these days to investigate further :(

But thanks for the help and the shared excitement about the game :)

Hi Angela,

Thanks for your patience and interest.
https://github.com/stephanbogner/cursed-leash/releases/tag/1.0.4

If you have 【System Preferences】>【Security & Privacy】>【Allow apps downloaded from:】set to  "App Store and identified developers" and open the app by Right Click > Open (after unzipping) ... it should work 🤞😬

(Apparently Apple got stricter and stricter and requires code signing – which I am not capable of yet –  for the smoothest experience but the above should work)

Thanks for the debugging help :) Much appreciated!
Just to confirm: Does the same error message also appear if you start the game with Right click > Open

Haha, chaos rules 🤘
I am glad you enjoyed it – Jan and me had a blast making it too.

Hi Angela,

I feel now like a real game developer: Releasing something and immediately after publishing it's not working when somebody wants to actually play the game 😂
Anyways, please check out https://github.com/stephanbogner/cursed-leash/releases/tag/1.0.3

Note: I now updated to Catalina (was surprised to see I was still on Mojave) and and also exported as a debug build since some people have had similar issues otherwise. I hope this fixes the issue, because I've never worked with Godot before and it's my first game in like 12 years ... so I have no other ideas on how to fix the issue 😅

Hi Angela, which version of MacOS are you using?

Nice game! Greeting from a fellow leash game developer 😂🐶
