Great idea! I love how you implemented the theme. It's cool how you can't stay on a good roll forever, since getting shot eventually forces you to reroll. Really great concept! The gameplay was a bit fast, but otherwise very snappy gameplay!
Cool game, fun to play. It would be nice to have a bit more feedback when you get shot. The art works well in the game, good job!
Pretty cool ! I like the idea that stats are dices ! Simple but efficient and leads to some crazy moments ! Nice !
A seemingly simple concept but executed super well, love the aesthetic and game loop!
Really nice and fun idea that you can reroll your stats any time. Linked with the health you get a very clever mechanic that forces you to (hopefully) boost up your health. Great foundation to push the concept further after the Jam.
I personally thought the sound was a little bit too much "in your face" and the sprites are a little bit blurry on my side - i think i would like it more zoomed out with more time to react to the things going on.
Congrats to the cool Jam entry. :)
It's very fun reacting to the dice rolls: you can move unexpectedly fast or power up your shooting ability, and that's quite rewarding when it happens. It's also interesting how you can roll the dice to make a gable for your HP. Good implementation of a fun idea!
Great idea! I like that you have the ability to reroll yourself and you can do it as often as you like. It's kind of fun to press it very often while you move around the screen. Nice job using the art and sound assets that you had to put together something fun!
I like your use of Kenney assets! Creative idea put together with it.
Good idea; it is very fun, addictive, and feels good. The pace is maybe a bit fast at the beginning, you can instantly get shot when the game starts, and it is a bit awkward to start in the corner of the map. It is hard to follow what is happening and think of everything simultaneously, but I guess this is part of the concept. Well done! :)
GREAT concept! It took a second to get my bearings, but I love the concept of being able to regain health at the cost of randomizing the rest of my stats!! That's so cool!!!
A very nice idea! Feels quite chaotic, I usually got killed in the first few seconds. Displaying health as a dice is a nice idea, however it makes it really hard to actually see how much health you’ve got; it gets even worse due to the health display being far to the left on the screen, meaning you have to move your sight far from the playfield. Anyways, nice game, good job!
Very fun! 6 on damage is awesome. But too high on speed and it becomes too hectic for me haha.
This idea has a lot of potential for future growth! The randomizations could have an even stronger effect in order to raise the risk/reward factor of changing your gear.
Love the simplicity of the concept, you can just pick it up and its immediately fun. Great job!
Good presentation, fits with the theme and fun :)
I had a ton of fun with this one! The presentation was charming and the risk-reward of rerolling all your stats really worked well. Great work! :))
Love this idea a lot. Trying to decide whether or not it's worth it to re-roll to get more health but possibly sacrificing your really good weapon stat is great. I just wish it was easier to re-roll. Moving your hand all the way across the keyboard to hit the "R" button in such a fast game is really inconvenient. Same problem applies taking your eyes off of the action to check your stats. It's not too big of an issue, but I think this idea would've worked better in a slower paced game. Still really fun though!
