Love the presentation and level design. Had to stop playing because the camera was really hard to juggle with

Really nice graphics and level design. The camera on the other hand... Few games can make me nauseous. This is one of them

Loved the physics part having to build up and keep my momentum. I fear the camera man had a few too many glasses at the bar though ;) Good Job!

Good job. Its impressive how great the game looks and feels, especially for such a short time. The music fits and the game feels overall polished.

Developer

Yeah, I was pretty happy with how it all turned out, we had 3 artists going and two devs so I think it might show a bit.

The art is really nice!

the camera control is painful, but in anything else, very pretty and cool!

Cool game, love the aesthetics and music

Camera control would have been nice, otherwise decently fun!

cool platformer, gave me mario kart ds waluigi flipper vibes

Really fun platformer! The controls were a little hard for me but I still loved the fill and the music of the game!

Maybe try out my team's game?

First off, the game looks incredible! But, as others have mentioned, the camera controls (or lack thereof) make it very hard to play. It seems like it would be quite fun to roll around as a d6, but I couldn't really get into it because I was constantly fighting the camera.

Otherwise, it seems really nice. Well done!

Developer

Curious, do you think it would be better to give camera control to the player or just better tracking and force the camera to follow a bit better?

Submitted(+1)

Ideally, I'd have liked a third-person camera (by which I mean a camera that's always behind the player and pointing in the forward direction, with the mouse turning the die), but I don't know if that runs counter to your intended experience. But I'd say that direct control is only helpful if it's obvious which direction the die will go if I press "W". Otherwise, a better tracking camera would be best.

Essentially, I'd want a camera that allows me to line up runways to the ramps so that I'm not missing it all the time.

Developer

Thanks for the additional detail.

The graphics are really good! But gameplay suffers from the lack of camera control.

Looks really good! I love the aesthetics and the music used. I expected the concept to feel dull but it was surprisingly fun rolling that little die around! I will say though, the camera feels very unreliable. It seems to turn with your current direction? With W,A,S,D, that made it hard to get it oriented the right way

Submitted

I really like the setting of it, controls feel a bit unrealiable though :)

Developer

Yeah, the controls are based on the camera and since the camera goes a bit wonky it makes it hard to control.

Submitted

Congrats! The aesthetics and atmosphere are really well done. The controls can be challenging due to the lack of an analogue stick, but the movement is still really satisfying!

Submitted

looks nice, but the controls are a bit hard

This is really cool!

Very nice! 3D games are rare in jams, good ones even more so.

Check out my submission as well!
